Linksys has been always a good and reliable produc

I always have been using linksys products, and this little baby works really good if you have from 10 - 15 devices in your home, providing a good range, not the best. But the range you should expect from what you are paying. Cannot compare this with a AC1900 or more you know. Pros. Manage people in your network Remote connection to the router Easy to set up and manage, simplified options for people who doesn't know about networking Cons it's not like the old models that lets you modify almost everything, this one doesn't support DDWRT, and some settings are not available

During a recent move I upgraded from a standard Time Warner Cable wireless wifi modem/router to this Linksys 802.11ac Smart WI-FI Gigabit Router with a Motorola SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 Modem. There were no technical issues with setup and it has preformed well for me.

I was shocked as to how simple and intuitive the initial set up was to complete. The unit has a modern style and complements my décor. Signal strength is great and I have simultaneously connect 8 devices at once without any lag.

    Good router but Range Sucks

This router was very very easy to set up. My only complaint is that the range does not seem to be as advertised for the WIFI. For me we only use WIFI for our tablets so it's not that important. I always use a hardwire connection when possible for the speed as WIFI is too slow to truly game with. This router has the speed and can handle the 5G speeds you need for the top end download speeds offered by cable companies now. This speed is not needed if you have the slow to mid-range download speeds from your provider. If you do not have cable, OR you only use the WIFI you should buy the model under this one. It is not the 5G speed and is about $30 cheaper.

I was not sure what router to buy as my concern was having a fast modem that was accessible from anywhere within our large house. This modem fits both those bills, it is fast and throws off a strong signal from the far reaches from our home. I would buy again!

It took forever to find what I needed without overbuying a unit too complex for my needs. This worked well and was very reasonable. Simple to install..just what I needed. Covers plenty of distance and even works between brick walls.

Had an older router that was not compatible with my new smart TV. Updated to this router, using my existing network name. It was easy to configure, and now all the new (and old) devices work great, without having to re-initialize them all to a new network.

I use this as a bridge and mounted it on the wall in the living room. I get 28 MB/s in my car out back. Set it up on a channel that isn't 6 or 11 and it'll go through concrete. I have cinder block walls on a portion of my house, so that is tested.

The router is a great buy for the price. The signal strength is very good and had no issues pairing it to the Motorola SB6141 modem. Been using it for a week or so with no issues. Like the ability to control some settings through the app.

I looked at several options for a Wireless router. This model was recommended by a Best Buy associate. Iy was easy to set up and configure. It has provided much faster service than my previous hardware. I would recommend this router.

This router replaced an older Linksys router. Set up instructions were easy to do, so anyone should be able to set this up themselves. The dual band feature is nice. A good choice was made to select this router!

Fairly easy to setup and I particularly like the app for the iphone and being able to control the settings from my phone. The connection stops working sometimes and has to be reconnected. But overall not too bad.

This router seems to have a wider range than my old router. I do lose connection every now and then but it comes right back. Sometimes a pain if you watching a video but you can usually get it right back.

I may not be the best person for this. I upgraded my old wireless router that would need to be rebooted on a regular basis and would loose signal at 9 pm every night. The new one functions great. No dropouts and easy to setup.

This is a very good router at the midlevel price range. This router has the IEEE 802.11ac which is faster and better range. Keep in mind that if your Internet speed is less than 50gbps then you can get away with a router that has IEEE 802.11 N that's a lot cheaper. Setup is a breeze. It comes with a feature where you can configure and access your router via an app too. I am happy with the wireless range, can covers most of my 2500sq house with good signal.

This router is much faster than my old one even with N or slower wireless cards. The 5Ghz range is very limited but can fly. I find the range on this router to be pretty limited but it is easy to set up.

used to get 18mb or less with my previous N600 router, now i get 60 to 80mb with this 1200Ac linksys router. Not only that but the app comes in super handy as well. I know what is connected to my wifi even when i'm not home!

As more and more smart items joined my household, Streaming services and smartplugs, everything slowed down or could not find the WiFi. Getting this Linksys upgrade was the ticket. Everything connected and the speed is great. The setup was easy. And the dual band option let’s you connect streaming devices to faster connection and have lots of options on the other side for everything else like smartplugs, surfing etc. great choice and affordable.
