Purchased this item on sale. The installation process was a bit of a headache for me, but now that it is installed, it works great. Range is decent but I notice it slows down if a door is closed.

I have had this for about a month with no problems. Great signal, consistent performance and best value.

Purchased this router to replace a well used, but dead Linksys router. Works flawlessly and has not failed or burped once since I set it up. Set-up was easy and I was able to rename it using the same password so I did not need to redo my devices. Very happy with purchase.

was amazed by the functions built in it. but i do see loss of signals once in a while. can only join max 3 devices to 5 gz network. steaming sometimes is excellent, and dips sometimes. no other major drawback. when it works, it is excellent.

This is a sleek unit. It fits well in my house and my style, it's fast and well protected.

Your man was patient when talking about four different routers. The one I got works very well and wasn't too hard to set up-even for an old guy.

We have always used linksys routers and they last for years. Tried cheaper brands, but didn't get a good signal and they didn't last very long.

Routers working okay seems to drop Wi-Fi signal at times.

This router is especially capable of handling all the multiple devices and bandwidth we have flowing through our home.

Got this router when it was on sale, and it's been great! We have a lot of wireless devices connected in our home but this device has been able to handle it all with no lag that we've noticed. Plus with the USB port, we've been able to connect an external hard drive to it and have a network drive we can all access. It was easy to set up, and has an app to monitor and change settings on it. Overall great!

Routers are one of those product categories you don't think about unless it's not working correctly... And I went through a few before landing on this Linksys AC 1600 Wi-Fi router. Prior, I had been going through configuration issues, DNS issues, or problems where the wired connection would work, but the wireless would drop. With both my wife and me working for big companies from home, it was a big issue. It's important to note that while this won't increase the max data rate from the ISP *to* your home, accessing that data without a bottleneck, especially via your wireless access point, is essential. Also, your transfer speeds between the computers within your home network will be very fast, whether you're transferring large media files or not. Be sure to pair this with a gigabit-rated port extender if you need to add physical ports. The push-button Wi-Fi Protected Setup works great, and the AC standard, paired with my new iPhone 6, makes a huge difference in browsing speeds. You might be able to get away with a dual-band N600, but I recommend going AC- it's cooler. (see what I did there?)
