To improve the performance of your Wi-Fi network, we can try tweaking the channels for both frequency bands to what will work best with your existing network setup. great router

Decent home router

I like the interface used to configure your home network. But the range doesn't seem to be all that good. My tv in the bedroom seems to have trouble maintaining connection sometimes, and streaming video oftentimes ends up buffering. It's a good value though if all of your devices are in one main area.

Great router for an apartment

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a Linksys N router with the Linksys 1600 AC router that connects to a Verizon FIOS modem and feeds a gigabit network. I have a three story house with the router in the basement located in the southwest corner. Wireless signal in the third floor Southeast and Northeast bedroom was a problem wit one bar of signal on the N router. I now have 3 bars of signal and significantly better wireless performance. I would definitely recommend the router for anyone wanting better range and performance.

It's slower than it's new counterparts, but it will get the job done and has a low profile so it can blend easily. It's not going to cover your whole house, but has good line of sight reception. I use it to extend the line of sight signal from my WiFi mixer at outdoor shows.
