However, I was extremely surprised that once it was all set up that I didn't need my ugly directional antenna anymore. I love the fact that I can monitor the router through an app for my iPhone. Not only does this has sleek styling, it also performs very well. The user interface is easy to navigate and the GUI interface is very modern. I also like the fact that I now have a terabyte of my own cloud storage with my $69 dollar USB 3.0 external drive that is hooked up to the router.

It comes back after a reboot of the router. I don't know if it is the router or the wd cloud (2tb) unit. It shows up after two days or so. The hard wire connections are always good. I didn't have any of these issues with my older g d-link router.

It is possible that this can be caused by some wireless interference in the area. We suggest adjusting the wireless channel and see if it will improve its speed. Try using the channeIs 6, 3, 9 or1. the NAS connected to the Ethernet port of the router? Or to the USB port? In case it is connected to the USB port, make sure that it has its own power source. Also, ensure that the router has an up to date firmware.
