Called Linksys Support and after various calls and a total of about 2 hours troubleshooting, they send a new replacement unit (same product type). Installed and the performance was the very same. I'm an engineer, good at electronics and I can say by own experience with this device that it dos not work properly. I had to purchase another type and went for another brand.

Nothing goes wrong the first 30 days but after that they want $89. to talk to you. The Linksys I bought had bad firmware (Geekster tried 3 times to get it to work)...but he had this Netgear 1750 on his truck for about the same price as the Netgear. I bought the BB 2 year service plan on it. So far so good...
