Great WiFi for Multi-level Home
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super easy installation. No issues with signal range. Linksys - Wireless-ac1750 Dual-band Wi-fi Router has excellent speeds even with multiple devices connected. Streams movies without buffering. Two (2) thumbs up with the sleek stylish device. However, it does have some issues with staying connected with my dell laptop. Besides that, I'm officially a fan and always will!!!!!! IT SHOULD BE NOTED: I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback.

Posted .Hi MyWi,
We’re glad to know that the set up went smoothly. If one of your devices at home is not getting any signal or Internet connection from router, isolate the issue by checking your other wireless devices. If they are able to connect, check the wireless capability of your non-working device; the wireless driver might be outdated or disabled.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected] should you need further assistance. Include your contact details and the link to this review.

Great router!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First I would like to say I did receive this router for my fair and honest review as part of the Linksys friends and family program. When I was given the opportunity to review this product my first thought was that I was perfectly happy with my current router ( Asus n56u ) and really had no need for this but gave it a try and now I know how much I was missing out on. I downloaded the app on my phone thinking I would only use it for setup but then I realized all the options I was missing from my previous router. My routers were always purchased with gaming in mind and with this app I am able to give or take away access to specific things connected to the wifi. Having so many things using up bandwidth at any given time with kids around there might be a few things running netflix or other things not even being used just left on and this is a great option to have. There are parental controls so if you have the need to set a time to cut access to tablets or games when kids should be asleep you can do that easily from the app. For gaming I thought my old router was fine until I realized how slow my old connection really was. From the start using the ac1750 I played an mmo and it was 100% lag free and faster loading times. Between the ease of set up and speed and options available I would highly recommend this router for anyone who is looking for a reliable router for gaming.

Great Product and Easy Set-up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this router to replace a wireless router that I have had for 10 years. The set-up was a breeze. I was up on the internet within 10 minutes of plugging it in. I was expecting long and drug out instructions, but this is simple to do. Also, the wireless speed that I have at home now is much improved over what I did have. Very simple to use and great for my small house.

Posted .Hi Chris,
The Linksys EA7300 router should be able to provide faster Wi-Fi once configured. However, some factors could affect it such as wireless interference and physical obstructions. Changing the channel and making sure that the firmware is up to date should optimize the router's performance. Please send us an email at [email protected] with your contact details and the link to this review so we can have our Escalation Engineers assist you further.

Highly competent product for an average size home
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a free sample of this router from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. I am a very technical home user. I build my own PCs and worked in computer tech support for many years. My home network includes two desktop computers (i7) running Win 7-64, three laptops (1-i5, 2-i7) running Win7-64, and iPad 3, iPad 2 mini, iPad Air 2, iPhone6s (all iOS 9.3.5), Chromecast first gen on an HDTV, Ethernet connected printer and a WiFi garage door opener. My wireless router is at the heart of making this all work together. And it does. My home and property are not huge - 2000 sq ft home on a 7500 sq ft lot in a suburb. The home is standard brick veneer over wood frame construction with the normal electrical wiring, copper plumbing and HVAC ducting in the walls, ceilings and floors. The longest straight line distance from my router to the farthest corner of my property is about 110'. The router is located on the second floor closer to one end of the house. The router is situated for convenience, not in a location selected for optimum WiFi performance. The single most important aspect of WiFi for me is to be able to maintain a WiFi call with my iPhone throughout my home and in all parts of my yard. WiFi calling requires a strong WiFi signal. If signal strength dips even momentarily, the WiFi calling feature will disable and the call will drop. I was happy to see that the EA7300 supported WiFi calling out of the box. I walked the house, all floors and basement, and throughout the yard. When connected to the 2.4GHz signal, I maintained full signal strength and WiFi calling everywhere. When switched to the 5GHz signal, I could not maintain WiFi calling beyond approx the first 1/3 of the radius of my property. In fact, the 5GHz signal completely disappeared beyond about 75' from the router in many parts of my yard. I use a WiFi network analyzer to read the signal strength and channel assignments of the 2.4GHz networks in my neighborhood. This allows me to select a 2.4GHz channel that does not conflict with a neighbor. I do not have the capability to scan 5GHz networks, so I can't report to what degree overlap from a neighbor's overlapping channel might be a factor. To test the router's internal processor, I accessed streaming video (Netflix, YouTube) from all my desktops (ethernet), laptops and iOS devices (Wireless), HDTV, plus executed large file transfers over WiFi between one laptop and one desktop. ll devices were connected to the 5GHz signal except the Chromecast. Everything worked fine, no video hiccups or buffering. The file transfer speed under load was in the 8.3-8.7 MBs range. This is about normal for my WiFi file transfers with my last two routers. Running a speedtest over an ethernet connection, I obtained pings in the low teens, downloads in the 90Mbps range. WiFi speedtest using my phone yielded pings in the low teens and downloads in the 60-70Mbps range. I pay for service up to 75Mbps, so I'm convinced the EA7300 can handle whatever my cable modem can throw at it. The EA7300 is a nice looking product. I like that it has external adjustable antennas. I like the USB3 port on the back to which I connected a 128GB USB3 flash drive. I can access this storage device from all my computers and iOS devices. The EA7300 also has a small on-off switch not always found on routers. This makes it easy to reboot the router when needed without fishing around to find the right AC plug. The included AC power supply is just big enough to interfere with the outlets next to it if plugged into a standard power strip. If the AC prongs were turned 90 degrees, it would fit without interference. Not a big deal, but something to note. The only indicator light on the front of the router is the backlit Linksys logo. It seems to have three modes - slow blinking, fast blinking and solid on. It blinks slow then fast when booting up and establishing internet connection. It glows solid on when ready to go. Throughout all testing, the case was warm enough for you to know that it was on, but never got warmer than that in 75 degree F ambient temps. Printed documentation included with the EA7300 is minimal - just a quick start guide. I typically bypass the smart/automatic setup features found on newer routers and dive right into the firmware menus. If you're familiar with Linksys firmware, you'll feel right at home. If not, just follow the six steps listed in the quick start guide and you'll be up and running. I was happy to see that the EA7300 is capable of updating its firmware automatically. This keeps your device current with the latest functional and security updates without having one more thing to worry about. My overall impression of the EA7300 is that it is a highly competent wireless router for an average size home. It was able to handle the full load of network traffic that eight wired and wireless devices could send it. The 2.4GHz signal will cover my entire home and yard with enough power to maintain WiFi calling. While not reaching as far, its 5GHz performance handled HD streaming video to multiple sources simultaneously. I will be happy to replace my old router with the EA7300.

Very robust router. Easy setup.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router is made very well. It seems very robust and is slightly bigger than the ASUS RT-N66U that I'm replacing with this Linksys. The router does not run hot and is cool to the touch. The set up was easy and I have not had any issues with connectivity since hooking it up. I currently have around 9 devices working through this router and they all are functioning well. The only issue I have seen while using my IPAD is that running a speed test I only averaged about 25mbps throughout my 1550 sq. ft. home on the 2.4 ghz network. When I switched over to the 5 ghz network, it has been speed testing at around 80mbps consistently. That may be because I only have the IPAD on the 5 ghz network and all others are on the 2.4 ghz network. I absolutely love the Linksys app on my Samsung S5 which controls my router remotely. I can shut any device down that I need to while leaving the others up and running. I think this is a great option for parents like myself that need to shut down a child's device in order for them to get their homework done. Or blocking a particular site. And being able to do it remotely is a huge plus. I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. I highly recommend this router.

Great router for everybody
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this product as a sample in exchange for my honest feedback, that being said, wow it was easy to setup, it was pretty much plug and play, and it screams as far as speed, I replaced an old Linksys router with this one, this one has better range, speed and my net-book was dropping before this one and now it stays connected, well done Linksys.

Great Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got tired of paying the rent of the router to my internet provider so I decided to buy a router. The installation was very simple and I got surprised by a 500Ghz signal. So it comes with a 250 Ghz and a 500 Ghz network, plus a guest network (loved that). I don't need to share my password with anyone, just give them the guest password.

Much better than I expected.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this router for my parents who needed an upgrade from the Linksys EA6350. That router was very reliable, but the range was average on the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels. Well, the Linksys Max-Stream AC1750 MU-MIMO router blew me away. I'm in IT, so I know a lot about routers. The range on the 2.4 GHz channel has unmatched range from any previous router I've owned. No dropouts whatsoever, even when 30 yards away from the router. Throughput is amazing as well. When it comes to the 5 GHz channel, Belkin Linksys is unmatched in this area, a title once held by ASUS. I have never seen a router with the 5 GHz range and throughput that this router has. It cover a 2000 sq. ft. two story house from one end to the other. This kind of range is usually only found on the 2.4 GHz channel. Belkin Linksys has broken the mold here. I keep using the term Belkin Linksys, because since Belkin acquired Linksys from Cisco, the quality and performance has vastly improved. The firmware is stable and as simple as it gets. Setup took roughly 10 minutes and I tweaked the settings to my liking. Anyone who purchases this router will be in for a pleasant surprise.

Great router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well it is a must to buy an ACE router if have dual band devices. I was getting a lot of buffering and log with my old set up even having 100mbps speed. I noticed it when got new phones and 2nd Gen firesticks and new TV. I also purchased sling tv it was breaking up at times I was getting annoyed. I realized it might be my router. , I never thought about the speeds of 5ghz I should of know better since I have a IT background but been so busy with work and kids I was brain dead. Didn't want to spend much and walked in to best buy and found this . I originally wanted the nighthawk for its cloud storage but for 70 bucks more for a small feature hmm . I went with linksys since it was the first routers I've even used . I was very impressed with it . Every device worked faster. Sling tv has no more drops. But now I kinda do want that cloud feature but I'm happy . I was able to set up my ftp on this router but can't add over remote access unless I add from the USB I have connected a little disappointed bout that but I'm happy with it and this model is newer than the night hawk I was going to purchase. I have 2 fire sticks, 2 smart tus, tablet, 2 iPhone 7, laptops, all performed great while I had all running video from YouTube to do a small bench test my self. I would recommend this , just wish it had that transfer feature to add photos from my phone to the USB I have connected for ftp use.

Great Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Linksys Router brought be back to the days of the original WRT54G routers. While it isn't the same thing as those, the reliabilty and ease of setup was a return to the old days. The router is packaged properly, with only the essentials. A quick setup guide, warranty information, power adapter and the router. The router is wall mountable. The three antennas adjust vertically and horizontally, and rotate a full 180 degrees. The setup software is all on the web-based setup utility in the router. You can follow the basic guided setup, or opt to go advanced and manually set it up. The iOS app allows access to some useful features, such as port forwarding and such, but is pretty limited. And you CAN NOT access the router's firmware via Safari on iOS. You must use the App. Finally, if you set it up, you can manage the router using Linksys's Smart WiFi login, allowing you to access the router anywhere via any browser or the iOS app. It is a great router and has been working very well, and has helped to increase the range in my home.

Solid Affordable Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this after our old router died on us. Even before it finally stopped working the old router didn't have great wireless performance. This was caused somewhat by our being in an apartment style condo and having a lot of competing wifi but this new Linksys router cuts right through the noise and we get a solid signal. It was also very easy to setup, without tons of pages to dig through to find the settings that I wanted to tweak.

Easy set up great range and speed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this product as a to demo for a review. I used this product in to replace the WiFi on a Bright House cable modem / router. First off setup was something I was not expecting I blocked off a few hours to fight with it to get it all set up and initially it was up and running in 10 minutes. With a few changes to the WiFi setting I had my sons Xbox in the DMZ and running great. I held off a few days writing the review check the coverage of my house and spots where I was running 1 bar or no signal it's 3 to 4 bars at the lowest (my house is 1 story 1800 sq ft). Excellent range right out of the box no need for range boosters. For speeds i am very impressed my cable in 120mb incoming and with the WiFi on this I'm averaging 26mb down and 12mb up, even with 4 bars dropping down to around 15-20 down when I get to 3. Overall this unit was such a pleasure to set up and use I highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their speed and coverage in their home.

Very Nice Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a free sample of this product from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. I am currently a computer science student concentrating in networking. The most important things to me when it comes to routers are bandwidth and coverage, and I must say, this router satisfies both. I am definitely getting better bandwidth through this router than the standard AT&T U-verse gateway I was using. This router covers my home entirely (which is good because it's not that big), but I would imagine it could cover most medium size homes with no problems. The setup of the router is very straight forward and easy, which gets you up and running in no time. Even if you are not technically inclined, you will have no problem setting up this router. There is also a smartphone app that can be used to check the status of the router and perform some administrative tasks even when you are not connected to the network. It will also allow you to share your wifi login information in the form of a text or email (however this is somewhat of a security concern for me). I would recommend this router for consumers with a medium size home who will have several devices being used at once.
