Upgraded from Linksys E2500 to this router. Much faster than E2500 and more features like top 3 prioritization of devices and remote app to show number of devices connect to wifi. 10 devices connected. Easy to install. Good price.

I received the Linksys - Max-Stream™ AC1750 Wi-Fi Router It has increased my speed on my w-ifi computers. I will need to purchase a new extender next month as to keep the w-ifi really strong in areas away form the Linksys - Max-Stream™ AC1750 Wi-Fi Router. My old extender is dropping connection from time to time. This is a faster router then I had so need to update the old hardware. I found it very easy to set up and connect to the router and get on the router page. I like the new set of the router page it is much easier to understand then the old router pages.

I had an asus for five years that finally gave up on me during this last thunderstorm. So logically I had my eyes set on the same brand, but after countless hours of reading aticles and fake reviews I settled on this one. So here are the selling points compared to other routes of the same price range: usb 3.0 for hard drive easy set up phone app simplicity with lots of options good range reliable brand great costume service I got a small apartment with and average 40Mbps out of 75 on the far end of the spectrum. If your looking for a router for multiple floors get ready to pay an arm and a leg without getting your money's worth. Your better off getting something lilke this and a range extender "repeater". Dont waste your money on those router modem combos.

This will probably be an adequate router for most users. For my purposes, however, it is a failure. I purchased this to use its dual-band access point and 4-port switch to replace an older D-Link DIR-655 that I was using for the same purpose in order to add more robust wifi to my selup. I have a separate switch and router acting as my internet gateway and DHCP server. This device was intended to provide direct Ethernet connectivity to an Apple TV and streamer/DVD as well as act as the primary WiFI access point (but not router) for the house. Unfortunately, unlike my older DLink, this router will NOT play well when setup as an access point and switch-only instead of a primary router. As a stand-alone router it works well. As a stand-alone access point, either plugged into my other router via the WAN with the Linkysys router DHCP enabled in a dual-NAT configuration or via the LAN ports with an internal LAN IP statically configured and the router's DHCP off, it also worked well. It also worked well as an access point in native Bridge Mode only mode. The problem is, if I set it up as an access point with connectivity to my primary router via a LAN port (as would typically be done) and then plug any other device into a LAN port it just falls apart. The router becomes unstable, DHCP pass-through from the primary router is blocked, and I cannot even raise the Linksys via the static LAN IP that I configured. After a day of resetting / re-configuring / testing and watching this happen over and over while triple checking settings and attempting various configurations, my only conclusion is that this device has a flaw that prevents it from functioning as access point w/switch as expected. It's also possible I received a unit with a bad swtich/LAN ports but the behavior I'm seeing leads me to suspect a firmware issue. This one's being returned to Best Buy today.

A little about me i am a 52 year old Male that is not very up to date. But when Linksys sent me this free sample for my honest feedback. I had this thing up and running right out of the box . The setup was so easy that i didn't have no problem understanding what everything was. I installed it upstairs on the wall facing the cathedral ceiling . I connected three cellphones, two tablets, an I-pad, along with my main computer and two laptops. I have great coverage in my home and out in the yard also. I am truly amazed by this router. Now i have to buy an AC network card to experience the full speed ..

We bought this router after looking over many different reviews. It definitely cost a bit more but it's worth it. This replaced an all in one that we had bought from our cable company a few years ago. We had issues with the wifi dropping and the modem needing to be reset at least once a day. This router has been excellent with not only the speed and quality of the connection but also the signal strength. We used to have a range extender to get wifi in our master bedroom, but this router gets full connection strength! May cost a bit more than some other choices but it's worth it.

How about I just start with what I don't like about this router? It doesn't have a physical AOSS button on it for simple connectivity. That's it. This router has been awesome for use in my homes. It always sent a signal where I pointed it if there was a problem getting a signal before. Whether it was a room upstairs or downstairs. I believe that it is truly the best router you can buy in its price range. The app you can download for your phone or tablet helps manage the network pretty easily. I have had it for close to six months and it has been working flawlessly. If you're having range issues with your router, I'd say this is the one to get, or maybe it's bigger, more powerful brother.

So far this product has been excellent. I've never seen a setup process that was so well designed. It told me exactly what to do and identified the cause of any issues. Only took me 15 minutes. The signal strength is strong and reaches everywhere in the house. It even handles the connectivity issues we have historically had with other routers. (I live with 7 college students so there are a LOT of devices trying to connect at once.) Only bought it a week ago so time will tell if it lasts for a long time. Overall I'd say this is a great router.

This wireless router is a very good router for my needs. It will be used in a small business setting. This particular one , I had to reset it at the beginning to get it to connect properly. This does occur not very often. Once reset it has worked as it should. Easy to set up and use.

I have not purchased a wireless router in several years. The setup was very easy right out of the box. The signal is great and very fast.

Our old router was sturdy and held up but we kept losing signal and it wouldnt reach to the back of our apartment so on the advice of a best buy team member we purchased the linksys AC1750. From the time we unboxed it to set up probably only took 10 mins, it was super easy to set up and changing the settings to what we needed was a breeze. We recommend this router to everyone the speed is incredible and we run 3 tablets, 2 smart tvs one of which is a 4k, a computer, Playstation 4, and a phone and never drop or lose speed!!

Quick and easy setup. Plugged into my existing modem. Easy to configure. I was up and running in less that 30 minutes including a few interruptions from the usual household chaos. I connected my work PC to the 5mh band and it solved the weak signal and data speed problems I was having with the 8 year-old router. It also solved the weak Amazon Video / Chromecase / Sling TV data speed issues we were having. A got a great price for a reasonably current router that initially cost ~$190 when it first came out as a new product.

Surfing the web is fun again. This router has significantly enhanced our browsing experience. Very powerful, but yet simple to work with. I love having a separate guest network with authentication page. I also love being able to quickly send text or email of the guest credentials right from the app instead of dictating it and the guest making mistakes. This makes it easy for guests to use our network. Being able to log into and configure the router from anywhere through the mobile app is nice. Great Product!

We were having old router connectivity issues, we figured our existing router was wearing out....we purchased this one. while setting it up I had to call Linksys customer service because the software was out of date, so they had to walk me through updating the software and changing my router password to our existing one. After an hour and 20 minutes, my house was connected to the new router. Better/stronger signal, no dropped signals anymore, Netflix works without having to buffer, no family fights as to who has to get off their phone so someone else can capture the signal. Finally, happy family!

This router has excellent range and very good all around, I have like 12 devices going through it and it's way faster than my cisco router that I paid over 300 dollars for in 2012 , I'm very happy and I know you wI'll too , Its got an app that you can watch what your kids activity and just overall cool feature , also it let's you set up a guest and sends them a text there own personal password that you can turn off and change at anytime , I'm a very happy with this purchase !!!!!!

My father bought this to help increase our wi-fi speeds since we were only getting 10mbps download with our old router when we should have been getting 100mbps. At first, I was a bit skeptical about whether it would improve at all, but now we're getting the full 100mbps. Router can definitely handle several devices, and so far I've only seen very minor hiccups in the internet when gaming with friends. Cheap price for how amazing it is, I definitely recommend this router for gamers.

I did plenty of research tryin to find the right router, and this one is awesome! easy to setup, My wife, daughter and I can all stream movies or do whatever we want without any lag issues. we also have several streaming devices and had all of them and our phones going at once with NO issues! plus I love the Android app, makes it very easy to change settings and monitor my wifi! Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on something else, get this, you wont be disappointed.

I get great performance from this router, even with mutilpe devices online. The Linksys Smart wifi app that can be used to monitor your network even away from home is a huge benefit. Easy to setup, easy to use. I can't say enough about the respect and thoroughness I received from the Linksys customer service. The tech made it a positive experience in everyway possible, and made sure to secure my network and ensure my privacy.

We are getting great Wi-Fi. It's very fast. Instant downloads. No buffering while streaming. Easy to install.

After reviewing several AC routers, i decided on this AC1750 router. The price point was perfect and the reviews were great. I was having issues with network in my 2 story home, mainly upstairs as my office is downstairs in the corner of the house. I plugged this router in, set up the wireless network and I must say I am very impressed. Not only is the connection upstairs fast, it's also very reliable. I haven't had any issues with buffering on any of my devices.
