Definitely a good upgrade, especially for the pric
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Started having problems with my wireless router and decided it was time to upgrade. The nighthawk 1&2 are a but pricey, so I went with what appeared to be the next best thing according to stats. So far I have not been disappointed. It has awesome wireless range, and I'm yet to have any problems with loading anything. That includes games on my laptop. I've had 8+ people on it doing various things. Games desktop, laptop & console, also a couple of people watching Netflix all at the same time with absolutely no issue. So glad I made the right purchase!

Great Easy-to-Use Product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy set up. Online directions/support excellent. Had to make a phone call to tech support for a later issue: waited no time, got a smart technician, problem solved in less than 6 minutes. Bought this (lower-end) router because I have a two-floor apartment, don't need to broadcast to the Taj Mahal, and (The Other Popular Brand Name Company) is getting a bad rap these days on their quality and service support.

Great Wi-Fi Router improvement over E3000
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Linksys EA7300 Product Review On February 22, 2017, I received from Linksys a free sample Linksys EA7300 Max-Stream AC1750 MU-MIMO Gigabit Wi-Fi Router for my review. I installed the EA7300 Router on my home Time Warner Cable 100 Mbps internet service with an existing Arris SB6141 Cable Modem. The EA7300 Router replaced a 7-year old Cisco-Linksys E3000 Wireless Router. Installation was made using the Linksys AC1750 Quick Start Guide. The only problem was that the Linksys logo on the router did not stop blinking when powered up. This was solved by a call to Linksys Technical Support Team at 1-800-814-0180 who helped me through a step-by-step resetting the modem and router. The Technical Support person was excellent. I have the following equipment running off the router with the speed test performance as noted: HP 500-210qe i5 64-bit Windows 10 desktop PC connected by CAT5e to Ethernet Port 1. Speed test CAT5e 118.17/11.84, Wi-Fi (CAT5e disconnected) 54.36/11.60. 96 (Wi-Fi 1.2 times faster than previous E3000 router) HP D266 32-bit Windows 2000 desktop PC connected by CAT5e to Ethernet Port 2. Speed test CAT5e not available with this OS. (Satisfactory) HP G72-250US i3 64-bit Windows 10 laptop PC connected by CAT5e to Ethernet Port 3. Speed test CAT5e 92.49/11.97, Wi-Fi 49.28/11.96 (Wi-Fi 1.5 times faster than previous E3000 router) Apple iPad (4th Gen) 16GB iOS 10.2.1 . Speed Wi-Fi 62.0/12.6. (2 times faster than previous E3000 router) In every case the Linksys EA7300 gave significantly improved Wi-Fi performance than the 7-year old E3000 router. I have been using the Linksys EA7300 for over two weeks and I am very pleased with its performance and reliability.

Awesome Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is the fast router I have ever had. Also, the signal has a wide range. I live in a two stories house, and the router sits at the first floor. I am excited to find that when I am using my laptop in the second floor, I still get the full signal of the wifi. In addition, it is dual bands- 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz. So you can always prioritize your machine to get the fast internet access when you are at work. A great buy and you won't regret.

Easy Setup with App
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy control of both 2.4 & 5Mhz bands as well as a guest signal that can be separately turned on and off and used with different password. Compared to past router setups I've done this was a breeze with their mobile app. Coverage and speed seem to be great throughout the 1500 feet of my home to spite the recommendation that this is best for home up to 1200 feet. If the app was capable of keeping data over a month or longer showing the speeds and amount of usage that would be another advancement justifying the app existing on my phone.

Great user experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The router is extremely easy to setup. The app makes it simple to manage who is accessing your router and for how long. Which is a life saver when you have little ones who love playing video games or streaming instead of studying. I would highly recommend this product to those who connect multiple devices, have fair to mid range internet speed (50mbps-300mbps) , and who want to know their wifi is secure from anywhere in the world.

Great for home use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work from home, so my internet gets a lot of use. Best buy tried to upsell us to a more expensive product, but we choose this one to best meet our needs. We usually only have 3-4 electronics running internet at once, so this was fine with us. The router was easy to install, walked me through step by step. It was very easy to get running, 10 minutes max. Signal strength and speed is great. Streaming movies has had no issues. We have several phones, tablets, tvs, gaming systems and a desktop connected and have had no issues.

Linksys AC1750 MAX-STREAM Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this Router for me to review. I was thinking about replacing my Linksys E3000 so this came at a good time. I found the Linksys AC1750 easy to setup and has a much better range and faster speed then the old one. In 30 minutes everything was running fine. Two computers, Ipod, smart phone, my receiver and blu-ray player could access the internet. Looking forward to using the new router for years to come.

Great router so far!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old router did not send a strong signal upstairs or outside my home. My new Linksys AC1750 ended that problem and now I have a super strong signal throughout my home and back yard. My old router was not reliable and so far the Linksys has proven to be a great buy. I like the versatility and management capabilities of the Linksys Smart Wifi App, very easy to change names, passwords and create a guest account.

Great Router for Home Use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a free sample from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. This router is awesome for home use. I have been using it for 2 weeks and haven't experienced any lag at all. The internet speeds are great even though I have over 10 devices connected at all times. I simultaneously stream Netflix and online game. This router is an excellent product and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Great out of the box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only 2 complaints arethe quick start up is annoying to get past so I could enter the correct isp information. Partially my fault, there is a very small print that says skip. I missed it completely. Also, the guest access logins shoupd have more flexinility and not require a web broswer for log in. Many older devices wont reconize that. but for the price it's got awesome coverage, the app to control from the phone is very easy and nice. Once set up and in it has a very easy interface.

EASY SET UP !! WORKS PERFECTLY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not be happier. After first purchasing a netgear ac1750 and being frustrated with its poor performance and unhelpful customer service that wanted me to pay $50 for there help. I returned it and purchased this Linksys. Wow is all I can say! super easy setup and very user friendly menus. It also came with 1 year 24/7 customer care. great to know even though I didn't need yet. Very happy so far.

Easiest setup in my life
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been one of the best routers I've ever bought, at first I did not plan on buying this product but when I came home and set it up I was amazed how fast and simple it was. Do not let the mean looking design fool you this device only needs to be plugged in correctly and once the computer knows it is connected it will take you through a simple step by step set up, the app is very useful too!

Great router for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall this is a great router for the price. It was easy to setup and configure, and also has an app available for download. The app lets me control the router from anywhere, so I can always know whats happening on my network. My only complaint, not with the router, is that the signal gets weak upstairs. For a single apartment, or a ranch home this would work great. If you live in a two story then I would still look into a multiple router system for the best performance.

Excellent performance
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was time to upgrade my network. I have always used Linksys routers. The previous one was the E1000 and my 60 Mbs iternet was only giving me 18 Mbs on wifi or on ethernet. I upgraded to this ea7300 and I now get better than the 60Mbs speed on wifi and ethernet. Super improvement at a reasonable price. Setup was more straight forward than previous models and real easy.

Linkysys AC1750 MU-MIMO Gigabot Router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this unit running for a few days and I love it! Coming from an N300 wifi connection, this new unit is much faster, can handle several devices with ease and has a much further range than the old unit. Setting it up proved to be more difficult than touted on the box and had to call the customer service number to get it going, but that was done quickly.

Solid, powerful router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this router on recommendation of salesperson, based on the fact that Linksys has a great app from which to manage the router and other devices. It is certainly fulfilling my expectations! Good range and speed. I'm on the back porch now and the router is in the 2nd floor front of our 1800 sq. ft. house. No problems connecting or working.

Great Hardware, Smart Wi-Fi needs a rethink
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Linksys 7300, AC1750 all in all is a solid product. It does perform as advertised, handling many devices, 4k streams, and overall high voulmes of data, with ease. I was running a cable "100 Mbps" (actual speeds may vary) connection with no problems. Streaming 4k on 2 tv’s, running several phones, tablets, and a co-op gaming lan with 3 steam accounts running Warframe (or something, not personally a big pc gamer) on hi performance machines, and a fantasy football draft same time didn't phase the network. Of course for every silver lining though, comes a dark cloud, and the ac1750's was the smart-wifi system by Linksys. Designed to give a user the additional ability to manage your router from anywhere and any device, Linksys may have gotten the cart in front of the horse here. Setup of a LAN without a live internet signal is near impossible. Also using it without a PC , only tablets, phones, and an Xbox or Playstation, makes for a very tough setup as well. The added remote access of setting and network admin from 4,736 miles away doesn't seem nearly as important as the ability to access the router settings directly while in the same room effectively, regardless of whether or not there was a live internet connection. Frankly it also seemed like an additional security risk added at the cost of functionality, a lose lose. When I looked into possibly using dd-wrt, device support for this particular Linksys product was questionable. That may have changed, and I have every faith that this piece of equipment running on dd-wrt would be absolutely awesome. I was very impressed with the 7300 as a piece of equipment. The user controls and Android application on the other hand were a bit too cutsey. Offline LAN setup and network admin is tricky at best, impossible at worst. The extra possible security vulnerability to remote hacking is also a concern, albeit a long shot with the smart wifi. Instead I would personally be more impressed with more control of direct functionality. Detecting other nearby networks, ability to login and broadcast a network wirelessly, as a range extender power booster would be nice for those that have community wifi in their building (Especially if you land in the apartment with the worst signal) or the penny pincher that buys the 4g tethering instead of a wired service(see metroPCS unlimited plan). Tools to analyze performance such as detecting interference and a precise GUI showing radio strength to all connected devices in real time would be invaluable in finding the best placement and antenna positioning for each particular users unique situation. I'll only dock one star for smart wifi, but if I could take another 1/2, I would. Linksys gets the benefit of the doubt as I see they have dd-wrt routers on the market out of the box . Again I state, the hardware is ACES. To buy again, I would stay with Linksys, but look in the direction of a dd-wrt enabled or VPN ready out of the box model.
