Easy Set Up. Great Range.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a free sample of this router from Linksys in exchange for my honest feedback. Swapped out my older Linksys router and had this one up and running in minutes. Range easily covers all 3 floors of my home (3,500+ sq ft). Devices all reconnected without difficulty. I also use the Linksys app and is simple to both setup and use.

Here we go again...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(I am in no way a computer geek. If you want specs, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. If you want the perspective of a noob, then please read on.) So my wife gifted me a wi-fi compatible thermostat for my detached shop. They said it would be an easy installation and hook-up to wi-fi via the router. But my router could not send a strong enough of a signal to reach the thermostat. I purchased a range extender. The ranger extender and router would not recognize each other. Things are getting a bit complicated, and I'm starting to get a feeling of being overwhelmed. About that time, I received an email inviting me to try out (at no charge) the Linksys AC1750, in exchange for an honest review. Perfect timing---IF it works as promised. I started by following the instructions to connect the Linksys AC1750 to my computer, 2 smart phones, 2 tablets, and then finally the range extender. The signal to my shop is now stronger, but I will still use the range extended to be on the safe side. I am very pleases with the Linksys AC1750, and wish that I had upgraded much sooner. Now my "Here we go again..." has changed to "Yes, it works!!!".

First router purchased
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though this is the first time I have purchased a router it has been an amazing buy because of the phenomenal range that it has. Since the router I use to have was the basic frontier which suck. Also to mention that the set up was easy to use and that the time it took me to set up everything was less then 10 mins.

Great router for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The online setup was something I wasn't used to but it was still very easy. I am used to the direct (or hard-wire-the-computer-to-the-router) access setup. Once I got the initial settins for my home WiFi I noticed that it was running very, very S-L-O-W. Checking the settings showed that the security type was set for WPA2/WPA Mixed Personal. This setting slowed the throughput of the router down to almost dialup speed. This setting locks out the higher-end radios of the router. Make sure to change this setting to WPA2 Personal which unlocks the N and AC radios allowing for the maximum throughput speeds. I have 300+MBps coming into the house. With the setting at WPA2/WPA Mixed the router was only pushing max of 15MBps. Changing that setting to WPA2 Personal jumped that speed up to over 300MBps hard-wired and over 200MBps on WiFi. The fact that it also supports an external storage device is also a huge plus! We do a lot of work between different computers so it is much easier to load the files onto the network drive than using a thumb drive or trying to set up sharing between different OSs.

Great, relatively inexpensive router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It not only has a small form-factor, but it's very easy to set up, supports high speeds and deals with multiple devices quite well. Most importantly for me, I appreciate that decent security settings are available, and they are customizable. It's perfect for someone looking for a no-fuss router.

Great router
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great router compared to my older one that I have been running for a few years. Actually much better even though this is only a AC1750. I wonder how much more capable the higher end models are. I run multiple devices without any lag. Rarely have to power down to keep it running smoothly.

Awesome Upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to upgrade my house to a better signal and wider range for movies and gaming. I have used it for a week or more now, and can say without a doubt it is a very nice router. With cell access for control and a super network area for making sure you are secure, this is a nice piece of hardware.

Great product excellent price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I compared 3 AC1750 Routers and this was my choice. It has a very reasonable price point and exceeds my expectations. We live in a long single story ranch and the router is at one end and I have full signal strength at the other end. I have over 50% signal strength. Over a 150 feet away in my front yard.

Fastest Router I've Ever Used
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm so happy my old router (not Linksys) was giving me trouble, because I needed a new router and found the Linksys EA7300. The setup was pretty easy, and the speed is amazing. WOW! That's exactly what I'm telling my friends about my new router. What more can I say. I love this router.

Almost There
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this hoping to use it for streaming television, and for that the wifi speeds were blazing fast compared to my previous router. However, there was an unintended side effect. Both computers hooked to it via Ethernet cable experienced significant video stutter when playing online video such as from YouTube (and others). I tried different settings, even as far as temporarily disabling my Firewall and VPN merely as tests (risky, I know), but neither of those affected the video playback. I was more than pleased with the wifi speeds, but was frustrated with the video stutter on a wifi connection. Took it back to Best Buy and a Geek Squad tech was unable to explain why this was happening. I exchanged the router for speed-comparable unit of a different brand, and while that one did not have the video stutter, it did not have the speed that this one did, so it was taken back too. Perhaps it was just the one unit stuttering as it did, but I was unwilling to get another to try it. For wifi streaming, yes I would recommend this router. For a wired connection, it's almost there, but didn't quite make it. Now trying to look at other alternatives for one that works for me all around.

Posted .Hi, Rexx,
It's not right that both wired computers experienced a significant video stutter using the EA7300 Router. We regret to hear that the unit is no longer with you. We could have endorsed your case to one of our Escalation Engineers for further isolation. Should you wish to give a Linksys router another try, feel free to contact us anytime at LinksysCares@linksys.com.

Perfect so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a house with 4 people. This means at times we have two televisions streaming. One HD, one 4K, two nest cameras streaming, a computer and 4 cell phones all going at once. Through a week this router has not dropped signal once or even showed signs of slowing down.

Great router.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid performance so far (just under 2 weeks) in our new house, which is sizeable, with some thick old walls. We don't have any ac wireless devices yet, but it'll be good to take advantage of that capability when we do. Meantime, a significant upgrade at a moderate price.

So far, so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this router to replace a 3-year-old Netgear router which had been dropping the signal consistently. Setup was easy and signal has been reliable so far, though we've only been using it for a couple weeks, so I can't yet speak to its performance over time.

router too bulky
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In exchange for my honest review I received a free sample from Linksys.I was disappointed before I even connected the router due to the bulky size. If it had been a router/modem combo the size would have been less of an issue. I was able to get up and running within 30 minutes. For some reason the new router interfered with my digital antenna and caused my smart TV to repeatedly power down and boot back up. Never had any issues prior. Streaming was not any better as it buffered often. Buffering was not an issue prior. I am sure some of the issues could have been resolved by someone a little more tech savvy than myself, even though this is not my first setup. Overall the biggest obstacle for me was the size, As my electronics continue to increase I am looking for products which allow me to streamline, minimize, consolidate, etc . I have decided to keep using my other Linksys router and disconnected the Linkys AC1750

Superb speed, intermittent connection drops
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am loving the internet speed I am getting with this router. The speed matches wired connection. Also the USB 3.0 port router is a bonus for plugging in external hard drive and share files across network. Only issue I see with this router is connection drops which occurs sometime. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Great Router - Love the setup app
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super fast router. Simple and quick to setup with the smartphone app. The app also lets you make changes to your network no matter where you are which I think is a very useful feature. This router will not be the bottleneck in your network, you can count on it.

Great router, reasonable price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was an upgrade for me and cost 109 bucks. The store associate was condescending and rude, but she recommended this one, and I have to admit she knew exactly what I needed. Very happy with purchase. I can tell a difference with streaming and wifi.
