I live in an old house with thick plaster walls. This is powerful enough to reach all parts of the house without the need of a wifi extender. I left one star off because even though I have this on a surge protector, I've lost two routers from the same company due to lightning strikes. On the same surge protector is my TV and modem so I'm not sure why the router is always the one to go, Luckily I always purchase the protection plan because I've replaced the router twice. Hopefully this one has better shielding than the last two.

As my household is going more and more wi-fi, my old (real old) router wasn’t cutting it anymore, especially with streaming multiple devices. I shopped for routers and found that Best Buy had this Linksys on a great sale. An easy hookup and configuration and all my devices work simultaneously and fast. I could have gone with a higher end router but I didn’t need it and saved some money in the process.

This was incredibly easy to set up, even for a non-techie like myself. I set it up over a month ago and basically have forgotten about it, and I have a good fios signal all the time, with one exception: when the microwave is running. I don't know if that's a fios thing or the router. This was much cheaper than renting one from the big V. I'd say it's a good deal all around.

My old router died so when I did my research I found the AC1750. It's twice as fast and the range is awesome!

The Linksys router was easily hooked up through a 50' CAT-6 Ethernet cable to my current modem/router. My goal was to have wired connections to my smart TV, gaming devices, and laptop when needed. I was very pleased with how easy the router was to set up through an app on the app store. My favorite feature on the app is the ability to prioritize devices whether they're connected via Ethernet cable or WiFi.
