Read some reviews and my IT friend suggested this router. The best bang for the buck. Works well with my home office needs and in conjunction with a fire stick my streaming demands.

Did a bit of reading on router technology before purchasing this item. it seemed to have all the most recent, it was by far the most inexpensive that I saw, and is a trusted brand. Our old router (N technology), was only a few years old, be we were at the point of resetting it every day. this router has performed flawlessly for over a month. definitely worth every dollar. even though we are on basic cable Wi-Fi, there has been very little speed issues, even though there are multiple devices operating at the same time.

This was purchased for my nephew where he has been having problems with slow speeds on his wireless network. Running on his old setup with a cheap router and the CenturyLink modem the fastest downloads he was hitting was around 12Mbps on a bonded 40Mbps connection. We set the modem to transparency mode and the router to take care of the connection. Now the average speed is 36Mbps or faster and very stable. Plus the setup pages of the router are easy to understand. Great product!

Our 5-year-old router was damaged by lightning and we needed one in a hurry. This one was on sale and met all of the requirements for current technology, had good coverage of a 2400 sq. ft. house and was capable of meeting the demands of 13 devices on wi-fi scattered around the house. It had good reviews and was in stock at our closest store. We installed it easily and it has been working well ever since. I would buy another one if it was needed.

My previous ASUS router (RT-AC66U, 3-yrs old) had stopped its wireless signal even though it reported the wireless was working properly. This new LInksys router has all the bells and whistles of the ASUS and more!

Love this router. coupled with a range extender that I had previously purchased, my entire house and yard is covered. Strong signal means I can watch Netflix or U-Verse from anywhere in my house using phone, tablet, laptop, etc. One minor drawback. I used the same SSID and password as the router I was replacing. All my smart devices were already configured with the same SSID and password. Only half connected after setting up the new router. The others required a re-connection. No big deal really.

Great router and very easy to setup. I have had it for a while now and had to reset once. Guest access features great so you don’t have to give your guests access to your password or photos on your devices.

I had an N router which was several years old and acting up. I changed it out for this AC router. I've run it for about a month now. The good news is that transfer rates are up and the coverage is better so I was able to remove an extender I was using. My main PC has had some instances where it says it is connected to the router but it stops having internet connection. Other devices were having no issue. I don't know if the issue is the PC, the router, or a conflict between the two. It is intermittent so it has been hard to diagnose.

      Hi, JayNH,

If the computer is connected wirelessly, try a wired connection and observe if the issue persists. On the other hand, if it's already wired to the router, try using a different ethernet cable for isolation purposes. Get in touch with us at [email protected] so we can have our Escalation Engineers help you isolate and troubleshoot the setback. I bought 2 routers one for home and the other one for my mother's small business. I didn't want to pay extra fee for wifi from cable company. Works better and faster than the previous company leased.

Tried a few different routers from other brands and finally settled on this one. Range is good and user interface is simple and easy to follow. This would be the one reason I dinged it on a star. It would be great to see a more professional oriented web UI for IT pros who know their way around and just want to quickly and easily get to all the required settings. Otherwise, it's a good router and happy with it's overall performance a few months in. Definitely better than some competitor routers that cost much more.

My LINKSYS AC1750 AC ROUTER replaced an old Netgear model that gave me good service for over 5 years but was slow and some times had trouble with a remote computer in my home. This new Linksys was easy to setup, except a bit of confusion on the resetting of the password which prevented access to the internet for more than an hour. The signal is 4 plus bars to the remote computer and I have delighted with the strong signal!

I received this product as a sample from Linksys and for my honest review. I'm an avid user of Linksys products since 2006 but last year when my old router stop working I switched to other AC Wireless Router due to friend's recommendation... to be honest I was satisfied with the connection speed of the other router. But when Linksys sent me a sample to try... I was so AMAZED with the speed. (see picture attached comparison between other router and Linksys.) Pros: Setup and Configuration is simple (can be done in 10-15 mins). Wireless signal increased by 85%. Speed and connection so freakin' fast. Router can be access remotely via app. USB 3.0 port is superb. Cons: Bulky

Replaced an older Linksys unit with this one and the multiple antennas helped with the range of the unit on the 2.4Ghz channels, the 5Ghz works well too. My only true issue with this router is the setup; while it was easy to do, it is finicky as it requires you to be connected to your ISP to finalize setup. If it does not sense your Internet connection, the setup wizard fails and forces you to reset the device and try again. This requires you to take your existing wireless offline to set this one up. Minor complaint but why is this necessary?

My old Linksys WiFi wasn't functioning so I needed a new one asap. Purchased a Linksys again and the migration from old to new was quick and easy. Had my WiFi up in less than hour.
