    I bought this router after purchasing the Comcast Xfinity modem. I quickly realized the Comcast modem that is available for purchase is not the same one Comcast offers to rent; the WiFi was painfully slow on the one I purchased. I really hate paying Comcast any additional money, so I bought this router to bridge the WiFi connection from the Comcast modem. Works great!

    For the "on sale" price, I would still consider this too pricey for what you get. This router is not much faster than my 5 yr. old Linksys router. The signal "strength" to the edges of my property is even less than my old router. I will be setting up my old router as an extender, so keeping this new one. Setup was a little confusing when trying to set up the "guest" ports. One benefit from my old router is the dual band for a little bit faster mobile devices.
