Connectivity issues followed by GUI problems

Easy to set up, especially compared to the stupid Netgear router that I returned because it was missing a basic feature that fortunately is available on this one. Unfortunately it kept giving me connectivity issues two days in a row, so I kept rebooting it. I obviously wasn't too happy with that, but I decided to give it a little more time. A few days later I went on a scheduled vacation and while away I noticed my Nest Thermostat, which I can control/access remotely, wasn't connected. I decided to log in to this router remotely to check if it was on the network, and reboot the router again if necessary. Remote router access isn't on, because I prefer remotely connecting to stuff at home using a simple SSH tunnel. So using a tunnel (like I've always done with previous Linksys routers) I accessed the router, but I couldn't get any further than a loader shown in the screenshot attached. I refreshed a number of times and occasionally I got a log in screen, but after entering the router access password it just went back to this. Looking at it with a developer tool in my browser, it seemed one of the AJAX calls resulted in an HTTP 500 without further info. So it's dead in the water and there's nothing I could do about it remotely, because apparently the software is junk. I've always liked Linksys and favored it as a brand, but this is ridiculous. I noticed that after buying my previous router (which worked great for 5 years) Linksys was sold to Belkin. I've never liked or had success with Belkin products, so maybe them owning Linksys now is an explanation for these quality issues. I'm returning this piece of garbage.

Bought the AC1750 3 months ago to replace a 10+ year old Linksys WRT54G that had failed 4 months earlier. Since we now have a built in wi-fi router in the cable modem from Time Warner, I was using the WRT54G more as an extender. I learned over those 4+ months how poor the TW router was with so many dropped signals and connections. I opted to go with this model and have had NO issues of any kind since. Easy setup, solid performance for everyday use (no gaming, no streaming TV) with 1 desktop, 2 laptops, 2 tablets and multiple phones.

Good Router at a Good Price

Very good value. Setup was simple and the router can handle fast speeds, certainly fast enough for streaming, gaming and everything else in our household. I located the router at one side of our house and I had to use an extender to have a strong signal at the other side of our house, so I gave it four stars out of five (though, to be fair, we have a pretty large house and for many people the extender may not be necessary). I definitely recommend this router as a good performer and good value.

I was kind of skeptical to buy this Netgear since my experience with the brand wasn't good but once I was at the store I compared a couple of models and decided to give it a try. Surprise! I have a a 100 of speed with Ethernet cable and 100 with WiFi!!! This router truly exceeded my expectations and I live in a big house, we also have a range extender so that helped but even without the extender this is the router you should get!

This router is a little more expensive than others ones, but it is worth spending a few dollars for it. The coverage is good and it can support a number of devices.

I got this to replace a 10 year old router that did not keep a stable connection. Since setting this one up I've only had to restart it once. Has great range that covers our entire house from the living room.

Easy set up, the only thing easy. Adding a printer: You have to enter a number to connect. I purchased this device, it was not given to me. Very disappointed. First day was great down hill from there. Every day sometimes two or three times a day it needs to be shut down and restarted because it loses connection. Then we start the process of connecting everything all over again. Did I mention connecting the printer is a pain in the A☆☆!? So I decide to do a hard reset. Again, two hours later lost connection. Next step recommended is firmware. Have to go buy an extra cord because the internet needs to be connected to computer and router to computer to do so. Bought a new router to stop having problems and now I just have more. Not worth the money spent on it.

Had a 2 in 1 and was just not cutting it , after months of research bought this Linksys router while local cable company provided there free modem... This router has no problem providing signal inside the whole house plus outside while walking my dog in a 1 acre perimeter. Dual band is great especially if you live in a crowded wifi signal area. I would highly recommend this AC-1750 !

Router fires right up and brings you right to the customs set up screen. So far I’ve logged in once and I stay logged in. A surprisingly rare feature.

I hate routers, but this is the first one I've owned, that you aren't constantly rebooting, losing signal to, or generally fiddling with. Glad I did my research. I've had it a year, and it is still strong. I have 200mbps, and it handles it with apparent ease. Great for my NVIDIA SHIELD, ROKU, etc. all at the same time. No, I'm not streaming 4k, but HD for sure.
