Good luck setting up parental controls on it properly. Even if you figure it out, you somehow lose the setting upon reset of the device. Speed is amazing but if you're concerned about parental controls, then skip this.

This router was very easy for a novice to set up and has been very reliable since installation. No problems with disconnecting and having to constantly reconnect. Allows fast connections. Very happy with this purchase!

It was hard to set up but other than that works great

Bought the cable modem and router as a combo. Had to replace my old cable modem/router when the modem quit but the router still worked. This way I only have to replace the unit that fails.

Worked well but not with all my connected devices.

It does everything I need. The router is terrific. The salesperson and cashier were both terrific. The both went the extra mile for the customer. Best Buy gets an excellent rating for tis visit.

This router will do the job. It requires less resetting than my previous router did, a process necessary at my place as there's a good amount of steel between my router and the computers receiving signal from it.

Couldn’t be happier with both bands performance and the WiFi coverage in the house...was using old router and not getting full spectrum of my services...I am now and streaming working excellent

As this was not the biggest upgrade from my AC1200, it made the transition worth it. The extra antenna made the Wi-Fi experience better for everyone in the household, with better speeds and still allowing for FTP server setup. I have no complaints so far.

This product is one of the top routers i have ever used. We no longer have orher people getting on to our wireless network due to the security this router brings to the table. Thank You

This router solved all the problems I was having with connecting multiple devices. It also solved the problem of my printer not communicating with my other devices. I would highly recommend this product!

The signal never drops and it covers an entire floor comfortably. The connection is stable and is compatible with any device with its 2.4 and 5 ghz connections.

Being a senior who did not grow up in the technological age of computers, etc., it is nice to be able to read, understand and follow the instructions. The router works great!

So far this router has been really great. On the 5ghz frequency I was getting over 100 mbps download speeds. On the 2.4ghz frequency I was getting around 20 after messing with the settings a bit.

My router was out of date, my computer kept loosing connection. It would take awhile to get my old router going again. Now I do. It loose connection. Love the smart phone app that comes with this router too

My previous router had died and so I needed a new one. I read reviews both on Amazon and Best Buy, and all seemed okay. I was in a hurry, so unfortunately I didn't get too in-depth in reading the reviews, otherwise I would have discovered that others have the same issues I have. At first all seemed to be going well. I set up my router using DHCP and instead of using static IP, I just decided to try using reserved IP addresses. Then I noticed that my connection dropped on my Android phone. I reconnected, checked for IP conflicts (there weren't any), and all seemed well again for a little bit. Then it started happening again, and not just on my phone. Other devices, both wired and wireless started exhibiting connection problems as well. I attempted to use the app to reboot the router. Said I'm not connected. Tried the web portal on my computer. Says it's not found. Power cycled manually. Everything is okay. Then it's almost an exact repeat. I decided to hard reset and even re-position the router physically. I put everything back to the way I had it, minus reserved IPs, even assigned some of my main use devices static IPs outside the DHCP range. Everything is fine for about 12 hours. Now we're back to square one. Sometimes I can't reboot the router via the portal or app, sometimes I can, and constant disconnects and slow downs on wired and wireless. When it is working, the connections seem to be painfully slow at times, and very fast at other times, both wired and wireless, when trying to transfer files, or even sometimes streaming or just looking at Facebook. My older router did not have these issues. I checked all the usual suspects for wireless interference, but nothing that was done would fix the problem. And considering the fact that my wired devices were having the same issues, I would assume it's not wireless interference. Unfortunately, when I attempted to return it, I was out of my return period with Best Buy, which was only about 16 days after purchase. I'm hoping Linksys will either be able to fix my problem or offer me a refund so I can find a router that actually works. Things I liked though: 1. The app is very well designed and intuitive. Pleasing to the eye even. 2. Parental controls are a breeze to set up and disable on demand 3. Guest wifi access is easy to set up and disable on demand 4. Most, if not all of what you can do in the web portal can also be done in the app, including advanced configuration. 5. When the connection was working, it was pretty consistently fast. It's just unfortunate that whatever is wrong with the router, it eventually slows to a snail's pace after a somewhat short amount of time.

Purchased netgear took hours to try to install with there tech help no one could get it to work, returned it bought a lynskis which what our old one was and installer it in 5 minutes love the product.

Router is good. I think if you are pulling heavy data then it will be pulled little slower over WiFi using this router. That's what I got the impression of this router. But for general internet use it's absolutely fine.

I have had this working for a good amount of time so far and it seems about once a week I need to unplug the power to reset it. I guess I would recommend it if a person needed one, but not sure it would be my top recommendation.

This router has the best 5g signal I've seen so far. Small, comfortable and the connections work greats Wish the signal had more range ... other than that Highly recommended
