I have had my wifi-enabled thermostat frequently send me alerts when it becomes "disconnected". This seems to happen at least once a day. This never happened with my old router and the exact same thermostat. If you're looking for a router, more expensive doesn't always mean it's actually all that better. I've never had any other problems to-date with it. Plays Netflix and other streaming services just fine with my cable modem.
