I had an older router and this one blew it out of the water. First, it was so much easier to set up. I can have my 10 year old cousin set it up without a problem. I can probably also have my parents set it up too, which is saying something. Compared to my old router, this is lightening fast. And I mean that in every way. Before, the more devices we had attached, the slower and slower our internet got. It got so bad that at some point, I would have to make everyone get off the computers and laptops and disconnect from wifi because I was lagging too much for online games. Now, its a thing of the past. We have multiple computers streaming movies and what no and when I play online, i have no problems at all. My only concern is that it is a little big compared to my old router and takes up quite a bit of space on my desk. And I can no longer set it straight up which made my old router feel even smaller. However, that is so minor and it is such an improvement, I don't mind at all the extra baggage.
