After two calls to Linksys tech support, I finally got the system up and running. I had multiple devices that had to be reinstalled, and a great Epson workforce printer that I never could get installed on the network. Apparently, it’s “too old”. It’s now plugged directly into my computer, which is not optimal. The new router works quite well, and with my new fiber optic internet service, web pages load very quickly. It’s a good system, but it certainly wasn’t easy to set up, so I subtracted a star for that and the loss of my network printer.

Worked great replaced a old linksys EA9500 router and RE7000 and Re9000 extenders which worked good and had seamless roaming. The AXE8400 works great I no longer need a extender on the top floor of my home because this 8400 has wi-fi upstairs and all of devices work great .I do some times need to reboot my 8400 when I lose connection to some devices and works great again after reboot .

I had problems with another companies mesh network where I was unable to access a particular server without using a VPN. Once I discovered it was as a result of the DNS settings I thought I was good. Except they did not (that I could find) allow me to change the DNS. This product did. Easy to install, easy to change, can now access website and server without VPN

I have this set plus 4 other velop routers. I have one of these as a parent and put the other 2 away for future use. The other velops are used as child nodes with one of those also put away. This way as they fail I can replace them after they've been discontinued. The range of the setup is excellent. There are no dead or weak spots and I also have coverage in my gazebo that has an Amazon echo in it.

I tried at least 5-6 different top of the line WiFi 6 mesh routers and got completely disappointed and desperate due to lack of wireless connection stability and quality in all of the products I tried, until I bought this beast! I finally found the one! Stylish, fast and reliable! It’s on the expensive side but I am happy again. Totally worth the money. I highly recommend it! Highly recommend it!!

Easy setup and outstanding performance with all connected devices.

I had the prior AX5300 Wi-Fi 6 system and would get constant devices being kicked off the network or not being able to connect to the network. With the newer 6E I have not had this happen. I assume it's because it can support more devices on network and because of the improved signal bands. If you have 60 or 70 devices on your network go with 6E.

I have been buying linksys products for over 20 years. I am a telecom engineer that has over 30 years of experience in everything from switches, routers, SONET/SDH, Frame Relay, ATM, OTN, etc. The problems that I am having are only on the wireless channels of the Atlas Max 6e. The wired ports work flawlessly but the wireless gives downloads that are 50 percent less than uploads. Tech Support tried to put this on My ISP which gives me 2.5 Gbps service and it works flawlessly. I have two computers with 2.5 Gbps nics and they work fine. I have the Atlas 6e connected to a switch at 5 Gbps and this should be able to fill up the pipe with up to 2.5 Gbps of traffic. But my upload gives me 1.5 Gbps and my download gives me 700 Mbps when doing wireless speed tests. But when I use my wired PC that connects to my multi gig switch I get 2.4 upload as well as 2.4 download so it cannot be the ISP. If it was the ISP, then the wired clients would get the same results as the wireless clients, but the Tech support can't figure that out!

This router was a disappointment. Set up was ok, but then the app stopped working after I did the 1st firmware update and could not get it to work. Speed is great close but diminishes significantly as you get further from each node way more than my Orbi 5.... For the price, this is a no go. Way overpriced.

Just average performance but a premium price. Signal reach is not great even with added nodes.

Really good speed from the old one, pricey but worth it.

Easy to set-up and performs well as a replacement for TP-Link Archer C5200. I prefer to use the web management over the app.

Much larger than the previous generation. Has more LAN ports built within each unit. Its basically a much faster and robust version of the earlier VELOPs but can handle more users and devices. I've seen it go on sale down to $799. Worth it especially for an office or a larger house, might be overkill for a small home.

The three pods were easy to place and provide outstanding coverage.

This device was purchased to upgrade an Orbi unit and to move from Wi-Fi5 to Wi-Fi6. installation was simpler than the Orbi unit and I have less dead spaces in my home. So far I have been happy with the product, although the price is a little steep, the quality of the product and lack of WiFi drops has made it worth it.

Excellent purchase. I will recommend this product.
I think this is better than the Orbi. No issues or no hiccups

Simple setup and placement of each node on the property. Purchased this system to go for a mesh Apple Network to Wi-Fi 6E to compliment my fiber to house internet provider. Better security, IOT speed as well as up and down connection speeds.
