Frustrated customer
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very disappointed with this Mesh system. The 2 mesh routers would constantly drop from the main router displaying the red led light. All the routers are connected via an ethernet cable (hard wired backhaul), so they technically shouldn't drop connectivity between each other. Initially, the first month of owning this mesh system was fine, however, i've owned it for a year and it's been giving me issues the past 6 months. I didn't bother to contact linksys, but am getting frustrated to where I should reach out as this mesh system is not cheap. Potentially, these may have gone bad over time and need a replacement maybe? The software is configured to automatically update so I know the firmware is not out of date. I constantly have to reboot the system almost daily to get them to work. I would not recommend this product until they fix the issues.

Awesome coverage with wifi-6 speed
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally the system that works. Awesome coverage. I had eero, netgear and nothing wanted to work in my house. Best speed I had was 60mbps and 2 bars and now it's around 500mbps with 5 bars. Even 2 houses away I can still catch the signal.

Great coverage. A litte vry little confusing setup
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This mesh system seems great! I did have a small issue getting the nodes to connect with the parent node, all i can say is..1) setup a child node at least 10feet away from parent node (dont get too close as it interferes with the signal i guess) and then .. wait about 10 minutes once the blinking pink starts for the child node to recognize the parent node... Even if blinks red for awhile .. just wait. After node turns blue, its good to go. Overall, the performance is great and the customer service reps are awesome as we were on phone for 3hrs until we figured out to update the firmware and do the 10 feet and wait method. I got it at best buy on sale and saved almost $300.. usually 599, i got it on sale for 329.00 great vale and once its running great coverage too.

Excellent Mesh Router
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router is fantastic! I was using a Netgear Nighthawk mesh router system (which is also good, but has limits). I found the nighthawk started to choke at 25 devices - which surprised me since it has three satellites. The difference is this - all of the Linksys hubs can/are standalone routers that can be used independently. With the Nighthawk mesh hubs, there’s a single router with a single WAN port. Linksys had a WAN port and four lab ports on every hub. My home is outfitted with smart bulbs, switches and outlets that all remain Wi-Fi connected 24/7. So it’s very easy to have 20+ devices online at any moment. This router is faster, or on par, with the nighthawk mesh system - but can handle 90 devices without compromising on speed. Wi-Fi 6 is beamforming is fantastic!

Easy to setup and use, let down in performance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to setup and worked very well, my only issue was the performance wasn’t what I was hoping for. I was getting around to 800mbits, even standing very. close to on an iPhone 13. Definitely don’t pay full price wait for a sale. Bring work from home I depend on excellent performance and I was just not seeing that. The solution I went with was more than 2x the cost so this may be good for a normal consumer.

Mesh Router Fills In Signal Gaps
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old router was not able to consistently reach locations in my house that needed Wi-Fi service. This mesh system solved that problem. The system was very easy to set up and has operated flawlessly so far

Great Router
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this router, I have about 12 security camera outside my house and 6 inside, including televisions, and computers, this router has never failed either one. Streaming Netflix, Tubi, Hulu in different room, this router never lagged, no buffering. The 4 ethernet ports in the back of each node is awesome and perfect for being able to connect a laptop or other devices around the house. If you are done with buffing and buffering during game or move time, pick up a Linksys Atlas Pro AX5300 router and dish the buffering. If you have a home security system you depend on, pick up a Linksys Atlas Pro AX5300 router for piece of mind.

Moving to mesh system for better wireless coverage
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of buzz about mesh systems for more consistent signal around the house, so made the move to mesh to replace a not-too-old router that was doing OK, but weak signal in the kitchen where the wife is working from home on wireless laptop. This setup does provide a stronger signal away from the router, with the 3rd pod sitting pretty much right next to the wireless laptop. Setup of the main pod (router pod) and then the second pod went very smoothly using the app - easiest setup for a router i have had so far - except the third pod wasn't connecting. KUDOS to the tech support hotline, as the rep was very courteous and stayed with me patiently until the third pod was connected and active. All the pods needed an update, and you get a notification that updates are ready, and the updating is "one touch" and completes in just a few minutes. we have lost power a few times (that's normal) and the system comes back online/wireless without any problems. looking at all the specs for all the systems, i didn't see the need to go with "tri-band" for an extra couple hundred. this system has been out for a little while, so this is the time to grab the "mark down" price and still get a very nice system that has given me no reason to complain. the android app works very nicely from anywhere, and the complter/browser app is pretty much "stock linksys" interface, and there are advanced adjustments that can be made if needed like static IP for a home media server. we stream PLEX local network wireless, Hulu, Amazon, >> all wireless and no problems with signal strength and quality of streaming. unless you have some specific need for more bands or an enormous number of devices, this should provide what you need without breaking the bank. there is always better for more money, but this system meets all my needs and is current with firmware and tech support when needed.

Really easy to set up
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is easy to set up the coverage is good a round the whole house. I would recommend to plug in child nodes to parent for better speeds. If not the speeds are not as great.

Works great once you get past difficult set up.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a difficult time with the setup; better instructions would help. I like seeing visual diagrams and install overview and details printed on paper. I did read the manual that I searched for on -line. So, after finally getting it installed, it works great. Plenty good enough
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had an orbi system for 13 months before it suddenly died outside of warranty and went seeking a replacement. Tri-band would have been nice, but I have a wired backhaul between two of them that serve most of the house and the transfer speed and lack of dead spots is fantastic. Keeping my fingers crossed that Linksys has a more reliable product than the shoddy orbi junk, our old airport solution from before that is running like a champ, but ancient. If these Atlas units last half that long I'll be REALLY happy, but in the mean time, we're off to a great start together.
