Had a (Netgear) for two years and stopped working. Took two hours to setup with Tech support. This setup in minutes. No tech So far, love it. This one cost half of the old one.

Everything I expected a router to be.

Best Buy salesman (no, advisor) suggested this one when I was anticipating buying a Net Gear for three times the price. He asked what I was going to do with it and made his suggestion. I never had one before so I went with his expertise. Glad I did! Easiest installation of an electronic device I have ever done and has had flawless performance for what we do (Kindle, laptop, smart television).

It took me about 10 minutes to set up my wifi with this router! I've seen no issues so far and I've got very good signal throughout our 1200 sqft house.

The product was a big upgrade from the previous Router. It was easy to install and my connection does not get dropped like the previous Router I owned.

Nice and Basic

Purchased this router for a basic need at work and it's doing it's job. I also purchased a range extender in order to reach the area we needed. It serves it's purpose and is pretty easy to use, if you are use to setting up routers with a few more advance features, the setup utility in this one may annoy you just a little.

This router replaced an approx. 8yr old Linksys router that had never had any problems. Brought this one home and from the moment it was connected, it continuously loses connection and you then have to reset everything. I called Linksys support (which is now Cisco) and before you can even explain your problem, they try to sell you a support package for $29.95! I said that I wasn't paying for product support for a new product that didn't work? They then advised that I only had 72 days remaining of the 90 day warranty? I asked how could I have only 72 days remaining when I just bought it yesterday? They said the 90 days starts when the product reaches the store, not when you purchase it? So I guess that means you as the customer have no idea whether you really have any warranty left or not? In any event, they advised that the problem was likely interference on a particular channel and had me change the channel. That accomplished, but the connection was only marginally better. The problem continues to this day, every day or 2, it will lose connection and everything has to be reset. I think Cisco's support really leaves a lot to be desired when first they want to charge you for support and then say the warranty starts when the product reaches the store? As a customer, how would you know how long the product has been on the store shelf? I am pretty sure this is the last time I will purchase a Cisco product. Extreme arrogance, reminds me of some other large corporations that have thought they were "too big to fail" and crashed anyway.

Super easy install, so-so range

The installation was so easy my 11-year-old did it. I watched him but it was way easier than I expected. We wound up going back for the next model up because the range wasn't good enough. The next one also was easy to install. I liked the dual wireless network to allow a public (i.e. stay away from my files) network in addition to the main full-access network.

This is a great low price budget router. It didn't work the first time I went to go pick it up but after waiting in line to change it out with another one, we brought home the router and it worked on first boot like a charm. Still working after 3+ months.

This was easy to set up and install, you can provide guests a password to log in to which will allow them to use it but not manage it. This works well for our setting. It's easy to manage after the install through their installed software. Serves our purpose very well.

We had been using an older model (g series) router. We began having problems streaming Netflix, etc. Also, when I would go into the bedroom (back of the house) my Fire would drop the wi-fi connection. Our house is 2000 sq ft. We have more things using wi-fi now than when we bought the old router 4 or so years ago. Looked at a Cisco/Linksys router 3 times the price, but the rep was very knowledgeable and after asking all the right questions she said you really don't need all that when this router will be just what you need. We did unplug the Vonage before installing it (but we had decided to cancel Vonage anyway, so no big deal). The instructions were very clear and it didn't take long to hook it up.

Works most the time. I use the CAT 5E connection, wife uses the WiFi. Sometimes the wireless connection acts goofy, but it may just be a result of the other 20 or so WiFi connections in the same area.

you want to reboot it every three days. First it quits handing out IP addresses for the DHCP, even though there are plenty available, then the wireless quits. Unplug it and plug it back it, all is fine for three more days, or so. Called customer support and they asked for $30 to help me. Darn thing was only $40 to start with. Told them I would just go buy a new router, and I did. I am a CCNP so I use Cisco products all the time. With Linksys being part of Cisco, I thought I would stick with them. Oh well, going to another brand.
