When hooked up wirelessly the computer was only picking up about 65mbps, so I ran a line from on floor up to the computer. Sucks having the wire just hanging out, but it went up to 100mbps. Doesn't get any higher than that even though it says otherwise. I'd find something else that actual does what it says. Should have costed less if this is the best it can do.

I almost feel like it's degraded my network somewhat. I have tested it at various ranges from my router, and it works best on the outskirts of signal, but not so far out it loses signal. It doesn't pull full speeds but they are within acceptable range for the location it's extending to. It is dual band, but there's not a big difference in the speeds of 2.5ghz and 5ghz with this extender.
