At the recommendation of an employee, I did purchase a Link Sys e 25 00 router.

I have nothing to compare it with, but it does the job better than nothing

I purchased this unit because of it's dual-band capabilities. We run 15mbps/1mbps and this unit works flawlessly running two computers, smartphones, and apple tv (hd movie streaming). I recommend this product. The price, as always with Linksys is a tad bit high, but in the end, I feel it is worth it.

SUPER easy to use. I told the Best Buy clerk what I needed. He presented me with the perfect one. Enough of what I needed, and no more than what I needed. I appreciated not being duped into buying a product that was more than what I needed, and more than what I wanted to pay for.

Great and reliable router that is easy on the bank account as well. Only issue was setup. As we are all iOS devices in the household and no computer, there was no easy way to set it up from an iPad. Other than that hurdle, GREAT router!

This router has dual-band and it's excellent for streaming music and movies.

I had to upgrade my old Linksys router because it could not handle the higher speed my cable company was offering. I checked out the speed Linksys said it could handle and gave it a try. No problem. I will have to wait and see if it can handle the 105mbps the cable company will be offering soon,

I use this router in my apartment and another version in my parents' home. I recommend it to everyone. It has the speed and the power to multi-task and for running lots of graphically demanding games. The chart on the back of the box makes is super easy to decide which router will work best for you.

I had a Linksys prior to this but had not upgraded for years. This really helped me access the internet better as I have a teenager who likes to play online games. When he was playing and I wanted to get on the net quickly it was impossible. Now I can usually get on right away even when he's gaming.

The title says simple. That's completely truth. The installation was in like 5 minutes ( including advanced configuration ) but this is also truth about the normal use. This router is perfect for a short quantity of devices.

As a Linksys user I have always preferred the Cisco brand. I purchased this new wireless router to supplement what I already have at home. I now have all the new gadgets and phones on one router and all the older outdated but still good ones on the older router. Easy to set up even for a beginner.

We replaced an old router that kept dropping devices. The E2500 now has 2 laptops, 2 smart phones, 1 wireless printer, and 1 tablet on the wireless side and a desktop computer, internet phone, blu-ray box and external hard drive plugged into the hardwired ports. Installation was mostly hassle-free but reconfiguring that many devices was a chore. So far, only the desktop computer was dropped once and it is hardwired so it can't be determined if it was the router error or a computer error. Everything else has had continuous uptime. Related to slowness, we have DSL for internet so that is inherently slow but accessing the hardwired external hard drive seems slower that what it used to be.

Works well, no issues. Set up was ok but not easy without a cd drive.

Router was recommended by my IT guy as I work remotely. Great product.
