Found it very easy to install and add multiple wireless devices (PC, laptop, printer, tablet, phone, ipod, 2 Kindles and Bluray player). Definate speed improvement in devices in all areas of house; @ 20mbps average. Netflix and Amazon stream without interruption. Pleased with it so far.

We live in a 2-story townhouse and we are consistently using 2 laptops, Netflix on the Wii, wireless printer and an Apple IPOD touch. All the devices work with a consistent speed and easily connected to this device. It has fabulous range and the security features were very intuitive.

I bought this router after all of the wireless ones sent to me by comcast wouldnt work properly. I decided to just do it myself. This router is very fast and holds a excellent connection with my devices. I am very pleased with this product and for the price would recommend to anyone.

Great router! Installation was very easy and performance is pretty good as well. I did notice that some areas of the house loose signal that's about 40 feet away. It's a little bit price for what you get. Would want to see this around the $60 price mark.

    Great router for technically "challenged"

My last router was also a cisco with typical 2 year life span before it became antiquated recently. Spoke to Cisco/Linksys and they advised that replacing it would give me more bandwidth and also be less expensive than even diagnosing the old one and they were right! Ran to BB and was back up and running within an hour. Gone are the days of paying $200 for a router, much easier to swallow replacing them every couple of years at these prices!

Purchased this to replace a hard wired router thru a Verizon modem. It was easy to set up and the signal is excellent through out the house including the basement.

I thought it was time to replace my Linksys G router which was about 8-10 years old even though it still worked fine. I thought this router would speed up my internet, but it didn't. So then I thought it was the modem which was also 8-10 years old. I ended up purchasing a combination modem/router built into one thing from my cable company and returning this item to Best Buy. While I used this item, it was easy to install, and I didn't have any problems with it. I really didn't have any problems with the first Linksys router I bought 8-10 years ago. It still works. I just wanted faster internet.

    Great router, terrible WiFi reception

I purchased this wireless router after using exclusively Linksys networking products for the last 13 years. I purchased this router to swap out the AT&T Uverse Internet Gateway that I recently got rid of. As usualy with all Linksys products, the setup of this wireless router was super super easy. Took less than 5 minutes! My only complaint, and its a pretty big one: is its poor WiFi reception. I live in a small/medium sized out (2 story, 1600 sq ft house). I cannot get WiFi directly outside my house. So no streaming to my iPhone or computer while I working outside, which is a real bummer. Also just by going downstairs, I was unable to get a full signal. Even while DIRECTLY UNDER my office. That's just unacceptable. I've had two different Wireless Routers before this one, and I've never had that issue before. When I checked online, I read that spotty wifi signal was an issue was this router. So I only recommend this for an apartment. I ended up taking this back and purchased an ASUS RT-N56U (also sold on BestBuy.com.). Gigabit ethernet and much much better WiFi reception for only $8 more.

This is my first day using it, and I would say it is rather good. My speed reached 36mp downloading at some point. My internet TV program is much more HD compared to before. Overall, it feels that it pull data at ease. I hope it last longer than my previous cheaper router. My personal experience is that they usually last 2-3 years, and then starts to losing signals. Since this one double the price, I hope it last 5 years. LOL!

I've had this for the last few months, but I had to upgrade after the number of devices in my household went above 6. I upgraded to the Linksys E2500 version and it was just like this one with the setup.

Linksys used to be my favorite..

I bought this router back in August of 2012, on the warranty it states that Linksys provides one year of manufacture warranty with router defects. My router had stopped working about two weeks ago. With my expertise in this field i tried everything i could to fix it. I decided to give Linksys a call and get some customer support. To my surprise, they would not provide me customer service. After 90 days of purchase you are required to pay a 30 dollar a year "customer" support. Now for one thing never have i heard of this thing with any kind of products. For them to charge me 30 dollars for customer support when i would MAYBE call once a year is just absurd. After fighting with them on the phone for an hour that my product was defective, as well as them telling me that my warranty was out of date (i had a receipt in front of me with the date it was purchased on) They told me they could not replace it still and had me call another customer support line. This is just ridiculous. Linksys used to be my favorite brand of any kind of wireless product to purchase and use. Since then my opinion and values on this company have fallen greatly. All of my linksys router's as of lately have had issues. Over all the router worked well for awhile, good range, good speeds, but they slowly started to deteriorate with my router itself. The lights on the router are not clear and they are harder to understand than most since no lights are labled and they are only on the back of the router. This product could be far better and for the pricing it is not competitive at all and the customer service is terrible. If i were you i would look into looking into other companies who would provide you much better service and products.

Installation of this router was pretty easy. Setup I had to download additional software to program with my Macbook air with 10.8 software. Software supplied only works with 10.7 or under. After download, this went very easy.

Bought this one as a replacement for another brand that performed poorly. Full coverage throughout the home and streaming games or movies doesn't present any issues

At first, this router was pretty impressive. It was really easy to install and get working. After a few days though it wasn't performing as well as I would have liked. Unfortunately, my office and internet connection is in the back of the house, but living room is in the front. The range on this router was not strong enough, despite the dual bands, to use devices in the living room. I had better signal from my old rinky dink router. Within a week I returned this router to purchase another brand. If you don't need a long range performance then this will be fine, but if you do buy something else.
