The installer of my new high speed satellite internet sold me a wireless router made by a company I was not familiar with. It only lasted two months and completely failed . I had a Linksys router on the old modem so I replaced it with this Linksys router. It was the most easy install and set up I had ever seen. The signal and connection speed to our computers are noticeably improved.

Works flawlessly. Also very easy to set up, monitor users, and add security.

We had an older Linksys router that was reliable (but limited in range) until the last month or so. Kept having to reset... So I did some research and bought this model. It's been a huge improvement. I have had to reset once since it was installed, but the range has doubled. No more using my data plan in the back yard, signal comes through loud and clear. Installation was very easy.

Good speed for the price. Range is good. Easy set up and iPhone app helps.

I bought this router to replace an older 'g' unit. Speed is definitely better and the range seems improved as well. The guest network is nice, but not necessary. The mobile app makes set up and monitoring exceptionally easy.

I always use Linksys. Great for heavy, multi user families. Last router had trouble reaching the entire house, but not this one. I don't need the repeater anymore. I also like that you can hide your SSID for added security and have a guest network login that you can make available for guests to only get to the internet and nothing on your own network. Also has a mobile app that can see what is on your router and toggle the guest network on and off. We are heavy internet users and multiple apple and windows platforms as well as dvd players, playstations, ipads, iphones. Fast and reliable.

I purchased this router in order to set up a network in my ~400 square foot apartment. I'm a pretty tech saavy guy, so I was looking for a router that was dual-band and would allow me to configure many of the intricate details of my network. I've been very pleased with this router in that regard. The router makes setting up a dual-band network a breeze, and the configuration utilities that come with the router make it easy to do advanced tasks such as port forwarding, DHCP reservations, and more. My only complaint about the router is that wireless signal strength seems to drop off quickly. Even in my small apartment the strength of the wireless network drops significantly, affecting data speeds, as I move to the opposite side of the apartment from my router. I've been able to re-position the router to mitigate these issues, but it is still a bit frustrating that signal strength drops so much when I'm still quite close to the router. Overall, though, I'm happy with this purchase and feel like I got a good deal for the cost.

I bought this router after my last Linksys fried due to an electrical problem in my home. This router has been everything that it claims to be.... BUT.... the admin interface is a joke! When you use the setup CD it makes you use their new software, which only allows you to access the admin interface if you disconnect the cable between the Linksys router and cable modem. After reading some on-line forums I found out that if you downgrade the router firmware to an older version, you can use the standard login without having to disconnect the cable. I guess Linksys did not care if their users had to disconnect from the web to make a change to the router config.

After a lot of looking around, this router was the one I realized I needed. Dual Band is he only way to go and the ability to manage all of my connected devices on the go means my security is higher than ever. Not too expensive and its perfornance goes beyond even what some higher priced routers are providing

Unlike my previous router, this one actually works with my ISP. That is a plus. Additionally, being able to simply hook up an external HD to the router to use as a network drive, I like that. Simple set up, decent but not great speed, everything I'd want for the money.

I bought this to replace my old one after it quit working when I moved, not sure what happened their. This was just the newer version of my old one which lasted 5 years. works perfect, no issues, extremely easy to set up. up and going in a few minutes. highly recommend.

The router has decent speed for the price and was easy to setup literally taking just a few minutes. Our house is two stories, average square footage and we have had no problems anywhere in the house with laptops, smart phones, wireless printing, PS3 or Direct TV. We initially had bought a Belkin under recommendation from a friend and could not have been more dissatisfied with that purchase. We took it back the next day and got our second Linksys. We literally set it up, placed it on a cabinet in my office and forgot about it which is great seeing how my wife works from home and needs the consistent reliability and performance to do her job.

This is my second purchase of a Linksys Router from Best Buy. The first one basically died after running steadily for about 3 years. This router is definitely an upgrade to the previous one we had. I thought the first one was easy to install, but this one was even easier...it practically installed itself. I made all the connections before I ran the install software, but if I hadn't, it would have been OK because the software walked you through the setup step-by-step. It's working great, and we're very pleased. Hopefully, this one will last longer than 3 years.

I had an older Router (E1000) from the same brand. It lasted over two years, but then it stopped working. The EA3500-NP Wireless-N Gigabit Smart Router was my choice to replace the old one. It has been an improvement from the older one, easy to install, and easier to set up with Windows 10. The signal strength is good, better than the old one. But this is taking into consideration that I have a one floor house (3 bedrooms 2 baths 2 car garage) with plenty of backyard. I don't loose connection in my house, but I don't know how the range will work in a bigger two floors house. The price was great for a last minute replacement router.

I was an avid Netgear follower after making the switch from Linksys many years ago. I was looking to upgrade my router after my old one failed, I went with the obvious brand (NetGear) and boy was I sorry. The router could not stay online, it will drop the connection several times a day and their so called tech support did not help at all (mind you the router was only 3 weeks old). I had enough with their baloney and trade the NetGear Router for this Linksys, from the moment I have configured the unit until today (a few months of ownership) I have not had a single issue with the router. I have a medium size home network that utilizes all the capabilities of this router and it has not let me down (my ISP provider is another story). You will not be disappointed if you are considering this unit, it works as it is intended and set up is a breeze.

After struggling with my Netgear router for over a year, I finally got fed up and decided to switch brands. This one was easier to set up, faster running, and it hasn't had a single hiccup yet.

we liked our router so much, we bought one for our son in law for christmas. really helped with our streaming movies and tv programs as well as the speed and connectivity of all our devices esp when the grandkids are here. easy to install.

The setup was easy and it works. Like the garage door opener, it just works. Speeds are also faster now and I even have an optional guest network, though I don't need the neighborhood Indians glomming onto me for free internet access.
