Have been hanging on and waiting to purchase a new router. I am the type that hates to throw anything away. The new Linksys Router was the perfect choice as it has added range and security I did not have before. So far, two thumbs up!

I needed a router that gave me power in my larger than average home and this device is perfect. It covers my entire home and was extremely easy to set up. I recommend this to anyone looking for a powerful router.

For the price, you can't go wrong. It puts out a fairly strong signal. I have this router upstairs in a large house and get excellent coverage throughout the home, even in the basement and outside.

Easiest router I have ever setup, and range is fantastic. Connects to more than a dozen devices with ease and simplicity. It can also run several high speed connections (in my case, laptops) at once without noticing a slow down in browsing, and download speeds.

Linksys has been one of the best routers I've ever used. This router has easy set up and good speeds. Keep in mind this is wireless in not ac.

I bought this to replace a Netgear router that took a dive. The main complaint about the Netgear was that the dome lights and the port lights were bright. So the person who slept in the same room had to cover the router. Well heat destroyed it. So we replaced it with this. Wireless connectivity is awesome. No issue getting any of my devices connected within 20 min of getting it up and running. Lights on the router is not an issue at all. This router also includes a guest network. So now I can have friends connect without seeing the rest of my network. A real plus.

Very easy to set up and get working but seems to disconnect too often. When working is very quick for the money. Still would purchase again.

I used this to replace a similar unit I bought a few years ago. Set-up was simple and the range is much better than my old router.

It's a Linksys, enough said. I've used a multitude of networking products over the past 15 years and I've never had a problem with a Linksys Product. They are the Best because their products deliver the essentials of speed, range, ease of use, and they stand the test of time. The only reason I buy new products after a few years is because I want the new technology. I love Linksys.

I was cautious about moving up to a newer router as the old Linksys wireless-G gave me no problems. But we do more streaming now and thought an upgrade might improve video performance. I remembered the effort to setup the old wireless-G and didn't believe the sales person who said it was easy. He didn't lie. It took longer to open the box then to set up. It was easy, fast and a better signal between first and second floor. I would definitely recommend this router.

I replaced an old "g" router and this new router is far superior in speed and ability to handle lots of devices and downloads. I especially liked the phone app that allows me to turn on or off the guest network. It's convenient and I don't have to give out my password. I also like that it will select the best available channel, so that I'm not on the same channel as all my neighbors. I think it was worth the price I paid.

Seems to solve our wi fix issues and range. Easy to set up simple things but complex issues need customer support. After holding for quite a while set ups wer solved.

Replaced a really old router. This one has good speed and range, and the Web based interface is very easy to use, making it easy to customize your network settings.

This router replaced one that was several yours old and had quit working reliably. Setup was a breeze, the guest channel is great for the people who visit and need connectivity (but it keeps them separate from all your data), and the administrative program lets you monitor what is going on and change passwords, etc. Signal strength is more than enough, and I have never had a problem with throughput speed.

Router was very easy to set up and I had it up and working in minutes. The administrator interface is really nice and intuitive. The range of the router signal is really good. We have multiple portable electronic devices and had no issues connecting any of them to the wireless signal. We also Tele-work at home regularly and have never dsconnected or lost the signal. I'm very happy with this device!

Easy to setup and use with good range in the house.

I was having issues with my Comcast modem/router and after swapping it out several times decided to replace it with a motorola sb6141 modem and this router. Man!, what a difference! ! No more buffering and annoying dead spots in my house. For a 2800sq ft home thise old router left me with dead spots everywhere. I couldn't be happier with this router. The installation process was a breeze and I love the fact that it has guest access as well.

Great unit. Works as advertised. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Easy to add devices. Great upload and download speeds. Signal strength drops off quicker than I expected the further away from the unit I get. However, the "one bar" signal I do receive at distance, is receiveable at a greater distance than I expected. (A weak signal is better than no signal.)

Easy to setup newer TV, windows 7 laptop, iMAC, iPhones. Difficult to setup if using older XP system. Connection seems about same speed as router from 2008 but signal strength is consistently 'excellent'. Confusion on when to use router password, wireless password and numeric id when connecting different devices. Had to purchase USB wireless device ($50) for XP system even though it was backwards compatible. Confusion on difference between allowing only MAC addresses from list and WiFi Protected setup. Two points: everyone does not have a brand new system to connect with and everyone does not understand when every vendor uses different words to describe similar concepts. But having said all that, it works, it is reliable, and it does what I paid for. I wasn't easy getting to this point however.

Previously owned a Linksys that was manyyyyy years old. Had lost the installation info and now needed more security. Went to Best Buy explained the situation and the store rep recommended this model. With 5 bedrooms and 2800 square feet, we needed a wireless router that would provide security and carry the signal from one end of the house to another. This model filled our needs.
