This router is excellent for the price. It has great range and bumps your WiFi speeds up exponentially! I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good router that's not wildly expensive.

Buyer beware! This router performed well enough during the first 30-days that I had it. Linksys (Belkin) put out a firmware update the ruined the router. They then admitted that there was something wrong with the update and suggested to roll it back to the prior version. However, the WiFi has never been the same since and completely disappears randomly. In watching the Linksys forums, it is a well known issue but Linksys has decided to take their time in fixing anything. It's been a month and I have a $250 paper weight. Do NOT buy anything from Linksys.

This amazing gaming router, not only helped my game play but it simultaneously lowered my ping with the “ killer “ feature. I would highly recommend this router for anyone who is having doubts and issues with their/or any router in general. Thank you Linksys & Best buy!!

I was skeptical about this router because I am a newbie & really didnt know if I was hurting or helping my slow internet situation but I will say - THIS WAS THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE BOUGHT TO DATE! My internet speed & streaming for video & gaming is INSANE! Not only is this router easy to setup but also updates itself with the latest software, every night. I ran a speed test the other day & the results came back as 96% faster than U.S! Cant beat that! I do experience lagging here and there but not nearly as much as I had when I did not have this router. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

So far this router has worked great. No troubles. I was disappointed that this router does not have app support yet. All other linksys routers seem to have the ability to use the linksys app. Other than that it works as stated

This is the second linksys wrt32x I’ve purchased. The first was my personal router for my home the second was for a travel router to set up network infrastructure for myself when on the road. This router definitely does what it says. My ping for devices is almost always 5-10 ms faster than older routers I’ve had. It allows me to transfer documents to my NAS at home at maximum hdd transfer speed. If you are looking for a router that will improve your home network this is the one for you.

Great router especially if you have killer enabled products like alienware. Firmware update made it worthless for about three months but after researching it wasn't linksys's fault and they actually sent out a router that I got to keep in the end.

My router passed away and I had to quickly research and purchase a new one. I went to Best Buy and perused the different technology. After some careful evaluation, the sales rep and I determined the WRT32X would be the best fit for my large space and numerous devices. Thus far the results have been excellent and the technology settings very easy to manage. I did need a little support from Linksys in the set-up and that support was fast and knowledgeable in completing the task.

Avoid, Terrible Firmware, Not Usable!

I have been purchasing Linksys products since 2003 or 2004 and have always been satisfied and thus been loyal to the brand for all my networking needs, and upgraded more frequently than any other consumer electronic products I buy. This is the first time I am really, completely dissatisfied with a Linksys product. At first look it seems great, aesthetically pleasing with its all black look and blue lights. Its stackable with the other WRT product, the switch, which I really like. Really wish they'd come out with a WRT designed modem that could join the stack like they used to have circa 2004-2006 timeframe, or a WRT NAS, but I digress.
For starters, the GUI is just plain basic, and I mean like basic basic. Little to no customization that has been available on their routers for as long as I've been buying them. Ok ok, I can overlook that, they're targeting a wider, less networking savvy audience, plug and play and all that. I can live with this, and maybe more user adjustable features would come in the future. After all it is a custom firmware.
I also could not place my Xbox one X in the highest priority category as I have read other user reviews on here state. You place it there and it automatically moves back down to normal. This has been an issue since I bought the router, on any firmware versions. Even this I was willing to overlook because things were working alright.
What I cannot overlook is the terrible firmware that has made this router plain unusable. It started with the 30 Jan firmware update. I hadn't been using the device for long before that, maybe a couple/few weeks, but no issues whatsoever. I had read about issues dating back to November or sometime, due to bad firmware, but the firmware version I had was working fine (at least no one in my home was complaining), I think it was .208 or whatever was being pushed by them prior to the 30 Jan firmware. Now the router performs terribly. I can't say that I notice complete dropouts of the Wi-Fi like others have stated but I don't constantly monitor it. But file downloads though, wow. Updating a few apps on an iPhone (something that used to take a minute or less), ya that's an overnight task, and that's not exaggeration. Some websites, not all, load painfully slow, like not even dial up speed, and some just will not load at all. Downloading things on my desktop that's wired works, but this is a $300 router, not a $50 switch. It doesn't even seem to be consistent what works and what doesn't. For instance, watching a YouTube video seems to work fine, but watching more than a couple seconds of a video on Facebook, nope, not without stopping every second to buffer. I'm not sure what port/protocol each is specifically using or how/why the router may be handling them differently. Even just displaying the thumbnail to a picture or video is a no-go most times. Windows updates, NVIDIA driver updates, iMac updates, you better have a day or two.
I'm an information services tech, and while my focus is more on the server side I'm well versed in networking, have maintained a CCNA for years and years, and troubleshoot services on the daily for my job. Nothing has changed on my home network, less the router firmware, and I've factory reset post firmware update etc. etc. and everything else Linksys recommends.
Reading a lot of the responses here to bad reviews by Linksys staff and hearing them ask "What workarounds have you tried" and you need to "tweek the settings" just solidify that they're completely missing the point. One should not need to execute workarounds to make your faulty product/firmware usable. And tweeking settings is about as vague a troubleshooting guide/step that can be provided. Stop trying to push the responsibility of fixing your broke product on the customer and spending all your time combating (rightfully) bad reviews and fix your freakin product already. I feel like I could deal with this if there was some communication of when this might be rectified, and I realize being in the business of info services myself that that's not always a reasonable expectation, but neither is being silent to your customers. Your losing everyone's faith including mine.
---TLDR---
-DON'T BUY, BAD FIRMWARE, UNUSABLE
-Totally botched firmware destroying what should be an otherwise very capable router, rendering a $300 switch at best
-Terrible Customer Support-
--No acknowledgement that there is a problem and they're working on it
--No timetable or even a "we don't know when we'll have a fix but we're working on it"
--No previous firmware versions available anywhere on Linksys website, to get back version that was working better

I want this router to be cool. And it almost is. The problem is that it drops the WiFi connection very frequently when certain devices (seemingly Android devices) connect to the router. It requires a restart every time this happens. The forums at Linksys are packed with users with the same issue. So, this has been a problem for what, like 1 or 2 days? No! It has been over a month with no actual fix. I guess Linksys is too busy to fix it? You'd think you'd want your WiFi router to have functioning WiFi.
