When I do a speed test the hugest I get is 50. I even call linksys unable to assist me. Told me to call internet provider who have nothing to do with it. Speed test on provider is over 300.

The marketing with the ping is why I purchased it. I see zero difference in before and after pings. Because of this it's basically pointless to buy this router.

There are a lot of bold claims made here about decreasing your ping time, great range and speed and so on. The packaging is premium with lots of great pictures and information. The device itself feels rugged, looks cool and fun but stays professional looking. It follows the typical designs of the WRT series but adds a few gaming twists to it. The back side of the device has all the great things you might want in a high end router. Four ethernet connections, one USB 2.0 connection, one e-sata connection. Setup is a breeze, it does not appear to use much of the internet setup other routers sometimes use, it is straight forward in the device itself. Once it is up and running expect great things. I have a Killer wifi card I purchased on amazon in anticipation of getting this router because I wanted to see what killer devices can do. In short, it works as advertised. The killer wifi ensures speeds are consistantly high and my ping dropped about 10ms from my old device. Now, the difference between 22ms and 12ms is negligible but I can not complain about any edge I can get in a game. Otherwise, my connection is highly reliable anywhere in the house and I have great signals everywhere I go. I have zero complaints about this device, it is fast, easy to use and looks cool.
