Like another purchaser, I was sent the rudy, not the monte, which I guess is a cheaper and very similar version. I want to instead talk about the quality though. The quality is actually quite good, maybe 3-4 stars. I would have loved metal rollers rather than simple plastic bars that run across bare wood for the drawers to slide in and out, but other than that this is a solid piece of build-it-yourself furniture. The problem is it's TOO solid, and they didn't predrill any holes. It's borederline impossible to put together without powertools because the wood is so hard. The screws won't bite, and the nails bend. I drilled holes for all the screws and everything went together smoothly after that.

Completely regret this purchase. I was trying to avoid making a trip to Ikea and was hoping I would not have trouble with this purchase. The quality is not good, the tracks that you slide the drawers onto are plastic! Additionally, assembling the drawers have been such a hassle. The screws do not want to pierce the wood and we have defaulted to utilizing our Dremel because I believe a regular drill would damage the drawers. I am disappointed as I have missed the return date and am stuck with both sets, one assembled which we realized are awful and the second which is still in an unopened box.

I can't really leave a review for this particular l item as I ordered the Monte, but Best Buy sent me the Rudy - a model that's not even listed on the website. (?!?) So, this is more a review about my experience. I found the Rudy model on another website and it's a cheaper version. I was willing to keep it as it's pretty similar but I wanted a $15 credit for the price difference. Best Buy refused to do that, and instead want to make me to jump through all kinds of hoops to fix their mistake.
