A movie that ptreaches sbout selflessness of motherhood and hope

First half of movie is great with young kid getting lost plotline. The adult version of the character starts off great with interest in finding family. But story gets too bogged down with his growing obsessions. Movie couldve been cut in half and wouldve been much more entertaining.

I'm very happy I picked this film up. Check it out if you can.

Overall a good real life story, but it flys through the journey of a young man and his quest to find out who he was; leaving out very important life lessons along the way.

Well it was good. Not really really going to watch it 5 or 10 times again. But maybe again down the road when I forget about it and then realize it's Lion.

Such a heartfelt and emotional film. The actor playing young Saroo is amazing and Dev Patel excels at capturing the agony that the older Saroo feels. The ending, although expected, is tear-inducing and deservedly so

This was one of those movies that if it wasn't for Oscar nods, I would have been totally in the dark here. As it turns out a true story about a poor low class Indian family who's youngest boy gets seperated from them and luckily gets adopted by a white, fair and educated couple. All these twist fares well for this boy. There's more but you have to see it.

In my opinion this film should've won the Oscar for best picture and best cinematography.
