What a great new CD/DVD by one of the best new rock and roll bands! Great music and Grace Potter and The Nocturnals are awesome live!

Simply a great piece of song writing. They have really matured on this disk.

This CD hasn't left my player since the day I received it. The songs take me back to the music I grew up listening to...the hard edged rock of Heart from the mid-70s combined with touches of early Stevie Nicks and the songwritting skills of Melissa Etheridge and Sheryl Crow all spun together to end up with a cocktail that is both retro and fresh at the same time. It is hard to say which song is the best but the highlights include "The Lion, The Beast, The Beat", "Parachute Heart" and "The Distance".
Spend the few extra bucks for the exclusive edition because this band has to be seen to be fully appreciated.
Haunting lyrics that will stick with you like "you're gone like the wind, and it don't even matter" from "Parachute Heart". This band is on the verge of superstardom...get into them before the rest of the world discovers them.

Nice sound after a few listens, and getting familiar with the lyrics. Got the Deluxe Edition with DVD at BestBuy and have enjoyed the Bonnaroo video with Grace doing her thing on stage - quite fun to watch and listen. Miss bass player Catherine Popper, but Michael Libramento is a good left handed bass player. My vote for the best song is Turntable, lots cool innuendos!
