First of all this DVD set is the ENTIRE Season Set with the three movies that wrap up the series! Plus it includes some interviews with the cast and documentary. Good. The picture and sound are excellent and show well on today's modern HD Widescreen TV's. Good. But here's the bad. The boxed set we received was NOT as pictured. The set came in a slimlined ordinary box with the DVD's placed two each in a "sleeve" that you have to pull out of the box. The sleeves aren't printed with the episodes just the season number and you have to read off of the DVD to see what episode is on that particular DVD. They are also pretty hard to get in and out of the box all crammed in there like that. This set is supposed to feature the "little house" as the DVD box itself that opens up to reveal the DVD's each packaged in its' own nice Season "folder" with the episodes printed on the actual folder so you know instantly know what episodes are in that particular season. This is DEFINITELY NOT a "Deluxe" boxed set so if intended as a gift for the hardcore "Little House on the Prairie" fan, this will be a big disappointment as it was for our Sr. Citizen Mother's birthday present.

I purchased this on a whim. The first time I saw Little House on the Prairie I was in 5th grade. I have been a fan since then. I have the first individual collections that came out on DVD some years ago. This is the complete series and you can definitely tell it’s been remastered. Some people claim that they have had problems with the discs playing correctly(skipping or not playing). I have not experienced this issue but I’m also only on season 1. I would definitely recommend buying the complete series if you are a fan of the show! Just FYI-This replaces the Little House box set. The packaging is more slimmer than the little house set it replaces. The discs are packaged in their own cases labeled season 1,2, etc..

I am so excited about my latest purchase of Little House on the Prairie series! I was only able to see the 1st few years when it was on tv & now can finally watch the whole series not only for myself, but with a new generation-my granddaughter! Great quality, perfect for all ages!

Show still holds up to this very day. Everyone should watch.

I originally bought this because as it's pictured it shows that you get the discs housed in a Little House On The Prairie house but that isn't the case so this feels a little misleading. What I got was a normal box set with all the discs with no collectible house.

Loved watching Little House as a kid. Now watching all of the episodes all over again.

Four generations enjoy watching. Hopefully will be past down watching together.

I enjoy the quality of this digitally remastered series, and now I have a great collection of fun, family spirited, and uplifting episodes of great entertainment. They just don't make good, heartwarming messages, with quality material to watch anymore in today's society.

My wife's favorite. Has some great extra features...and a very cool box :)

It is a great series to own and have especially for the family values being focused on.

I would recommend this set to any one who grew up with the Ingles family as I did. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is very good. The box set is very well put together to keep your cd's in great shape for years to come!

I love this series..has been a favorite of mine for forever. In fact I even got to meet Melissa Gilbert when she was shooting a movie down the street from my house :) This is a great collection. I love the little house it comes in. Hours upon hours of great family entertainment.

I like that I got all the seasons but when I ordered it showed the little house box set in shape of the house but all I got was a regular square box. It was false advertising now I type in little house all seasons and just the box set shows not the House shape box that was showing when I ordered... I was very disappointed false advertisement

Searched for this series as a set, found this, best price around. This was a gift for my mom, she LOVED it. The house that the dvds are in make it that much more special.

Excellent show. I was 10 when this series started and I still enjoy watching all of the seasons. Only gave a fair rating as 3 of the DVDs skip and I cannot watch the entire episode.

Good Old fashioned values that could most definitely be learned from today. Makes me miss the "good ol' days." :) Also, the little house packaging is super cute.

So happy with this purchase. The case shaped like a house is so sweet. Plan to order three more for my grown family as we loved watching this show when they were young!

Watched this growing up and would recommend. It’s a classic and I loved it.
