I missed this when it first came out and the cheapest you can find it is for around $60 on ebay. I lucked out visiting a Best Buy I normally dont gi yo and was able to pick it up for less than $30. As far as the game. I havent played it much. But it's very interesting. The controls take some getting used and the graphics are great and set the mood. Highly recommend for puzzle platformers.

The game itself is just alright. It has an interesting art design, plays similar to a Limbo-esque game, and is actually pretty tense and creepy at times. The problem with it is length, movement/controls, and actual content. Your first cold playthrough will be about two hours. It encourages you to play it multiple times. One achievement is completing it in under 1 hour without dying, for example, but I had no desire to go back. The controls are weird. You have to hold down a trigger to grab things, jumping is A, and running is B, so at times you're running, jumping while running, grabbing things, etc and it becomes a bit of a cluster cuss for your fingers. I will say, by the end of the game I had gotten pretty good at it but it never felt as precise or fair as it could have. Finally, this game has very few things to do except for "run away from this monster." good, you beat that one. now "run away from this monster." While it is a nice change of pace to have a more action heavy sidescroller, and there is one scene in particular that involves the chef's that was particularly nerve-wracking, it just feels kind of bland when all is said and done. You have about an hour and a half of running and hiding. I can't remember a single puzzle or specific encounter. And, pro tip --- If you see a place to hide, be ready to sprint back there in a few moments. The gameplay itself becomes pretty predictable. That said, for the money, this physical copy is pretty rad. For only a few bucks more than the digital game you get a poster, soundtrack, sticker pack, and a pretty nice figurine. It's honestly nicer than the special edition Assassin's Creed figure from way back in 2008. If you wanted to try this game, physical with all of these extras is the way to go. I really laid out some critiques but if you like this genre of game, this really is worth the playthrough. The cons seem more important because the game itself was so close to being a classic like Limbo but it just didn't get there for me. I will be interested to see what the future DLC has in store.

This game is amazing in itself - it has beautiful graphics and a dark atmosphere worthy of its name. The collector's box was a delightful gift for someone who loves the game - the figure is accurate and looks great displayed, and the accompanying poster is in the same unsettling style as the game itself

The art style in this game is beautiful. The spookiness is also a treat, although the gameplay leaves a little to be desired. You'll die more than a couple times because of falling off ledges and not slipping under cover from baddies in time. Also, this game is incredibly similar to INSIDE. That's not necessary a bad thing, but it's really so similar experience-wise that it doesn't feel new enough if you want something totally fresh. But if you beat INSIDE craving more, this will probably wet your whistle. This Limited Edition in particular isn't really worth the extra $15 unless you absolutely need a tchotchke memento (Six figurine). Pick it up digitally for $20. I had been following this game since I initially saw it back in early 2017, it looked interesting and somewhat creepy. After playing it for a few days, I would say it has been one of my favorite games this year. The story itself was more than I was expecting and the gameplay was great, there were a few points in the game that I wish were done better but overall, I enjoyed it.

I was excited to get my hands on my this game and it did not disappoint. Awesome addition to my collection.

This is seriously one of the BEST games this year. It has GREAT atmosphere, and incredibly creepy creature designs. The gameplay is what you'd expect if you've played games like LIMBO or INSIDE. This is a DEFINITE must own.

If you liked Limbo and Inside then I believe you will enjoy this game. Yes, it is fairly short, but it's a lot of fun to play. It's not very complex either.

The atmosphere is terrific in this game, it's creepy and fun to figure out the puzzles.

My teenagers wanted this game very badly, and they were not disappointed.

Short but awesome playthrough. No serious jump scares but a lot of fun.

The art style is amazing. It's a fun game, with a lot of little details. There are a couple pickups that could cause some replay value. I wouldn't say the box set is worth the price though unless you want the soundtrack. It's 20 to download.

I bought this for my 6 year old and he can't stop playing it!
