One of the best versions of this movie and the color is done well.

I remember seeing this movie when I was young. Enjoyed it then and still enjoy it today!

This is a classic story of sister dynamics in the 1860’s. Timeless!

I love the story Little Women and the various movies made based upon the novel. This 1949 version will not disappoint you.

Wonderful movie to add to my collection of older movies

When I got it. I was excited to see it. But when I started to watch it. It froze and it skipped a big chunk of the movie. I was not happy about it. I will be taking it back to best buy. I will try to order another one from best buy. Hopefully I don't have a problem with the new one

This is the Little Women version I first saw on my set years ago. It's rich with beautiful color and the background architectual scenes within the family's homes are from a time gone by that adds to the beauty of the film. This is the only film I've ever seen Ellizabeth Taylor have strawberry blonde locks in and her ability to play her character was actually quite good rather than her later films. Margaret O'Brien can still emote with the best of them..and June Allyson with her passion for being a writer...put a fire in my belly to travel that same path some day. It's an enjoyable way to spend your evening on these cold and nippy pre-Christmas evenings...watching these "little women" and becoming wrapped up in their separate lives.

This is the best Little Women movie of all. June Allyson's emtions are so realistic, from her tomboyishness, to the sorrow she feels at the loss of her sister, to the love she has for the Professor. Everyone delivers a memorable performance. This is a wonderful movie to share with your family and friends. It has a wonderful moral. Some things cannot be bought they can only be felt.
