I wrote this review based mostly on my kids´ opinion, as I didn’t play this game quite much. Pretty similar mechanic than the first LBP, easier and shorter to finish, but this one improves over the previous version in graphics and gameplay. The design section for building new environments is much friendly than before, making things much easier to make. My kids spend hours and hours playing this game and building all kind of stuff both online and offline. Online play is very smooth. If you never played this game, it is about fabric toys walking, jumping and hanging any kind of objects to get the goal, capturing objects and bonus balls while running to the end of each level. Many objects can be used once collected to get the goal. Very entertaining game and also fast-mind requiring as some challenges get the best of us. It supports as much as 4 players, being an ideal game for family. And besides being a game more orientated for kids, any adult can spend awesome time playing this game.

When I got the first game, the cashier @ Best Buy reassured me that it was a really awesome game. Everyone will want to play it! I was skeptic, of course... But obviously I really enjoyed it. My friends and I constantly laugh the whole way through the game! Especially when we back hand each other, and see us flying across the screen, down to our little sack boy deaths.... Priceless! The game looks basic, but you can do soo much in it!!! Looking forward to the next installment!

I own the first LBP and that was fun. But LBP2 is even more pure fun. When playing with other players or friends, there's so much laughter. They added new features like the ability to grapple on to things with the grapple hook. You can also use your saved costume from LBP. Sometimes when playing by yourself it can get a little boring and frustrating. But the online and multiplayer aspect can take care of that very quickly.

This game is alot of fun. Its a good game for a varity of ages. The levels are challenging but not too challenging and the level selection basically never ends.

The game is pretty fun so far. I haven't beaten it yet (not that you can with all the community levels), but so far I'm impressed. They added some fun new tools you can use as well as a very powerful level creator/editor. The reason for only 4 stars is I bought this game expecting it to be fully compatible with the PS Move (which is stated on the cover), but in reality its not (future patches will add compatibility though I'm not sure to what degree).

I have played LittleBigPlanet, their first game, and had so much fun! I would play this 24/7 and laugh all nights even. If the 1st game was really great then so is this one. What's cool about it also is that all the levels created and posted online from their 1st will also be playable in this game. Very fun with 4x players.

This game is amazing compared to the first one. Lots of new things added & tons of fun, new levels. A must have for any LittleBigPlanet person. I have nothing but positive to say about this game. Very addictive. You can make your own levels & play levels other people have made. Therefore, you'll never truly "beat" this game :)

This game is totally met my expectation with more cool graphics and fun to play with all ages. Little Big Planet 2 rocks!!!! I waited to buy this game due to mix reviews but it's totally worth the wait coz it turns out to be excellent game coz my whole family can enjoy and play colorful, fun and awesome characters... I hope they make more games like this one. I loved it so much.

LBP2 is a fantastic follow up to the original. It provides good, clean fun that the entire family can enjoy. There are plenty of challenges to be had in LBP2 for the more serious gamers, while the less-experienced will have fun simply completing the levels. This is a fantastic game! If you loved the original, you will love this one, as well.

This review is solely based on offline gameplay. I like this game and I really wanted it to blow away the first installment. For me it didn't though. The story mode was a bit weaker and not as challenging as LBP 1. I believe my girlfriend and I had beaten story mode in less than 1.5 weeks playing about 2 hrs a night here and there. In LBP it took us about a good 1-2 months to finish storymode, playing about the same amount of hrs if not more. There are some really cool additions here thoguh. What you can do vs LBP 1 is by far a jump ahead. I am sure once I go online there will be some real cool levels that people have made. The best part about this game though, is that its compatible with the first game. Levels and items can be used in LBP 2 and will utilize the new features LBP offers.

I love the LBP series! There are so many more options in this one and all the old stuff is compatible as well. So much to Create and share, including whole new Genres of games. It is like 30+ games in 1

What's so great about this is that they continued on a perfect game and made it perfecter with updates and with this new sequel to the game they made it the "Perfecterest' game and its Great . .OMG . Lol . (:

My kids had the first Little Big Planet & liked it but was very excited about the second version. Great graphics and the new features like dragging and throwing your teammate adds extra fun and exitement to the game. If you liked the first one, you will love this one!

I own Little Big Planet 1 and I can't wait for Little Big Planet 2 to come out. It looks like an amazing game with some amazing features. In Little Big Planet 2 there are more creation tools than Little Big Planet 1 and you can play Little Big Planet 1 levels. Also, there is a whole new story for Little Big Planet 2.

Can't pull my kids away from it. they had the first LBP and all of their saved costumes are available in LBP2 which they loved.

There are thousands of player made levels so you will not be bored.

This game has something for everyone to enjoy. it is great with just your basic PS3 and the experience is enhanced with PlayStation Move. Game play is fun and easy to pick up, and the story line is fun and exciting with many different levels of play. Online you are able to create and play with tons of people from a number of countries.

A great game for parents and children to play together. My 5 year old son and I have been playing together since it came out and we have just gotten to the last level.

LBP2 is very fun and family friendly. I showed to my girlfriend and we can't stop playing it together. You can never be too old to play this game and the number of levels (online) would leave you playing this title for quite some time
