THIS IS WHAT ALL BAD COMPANY FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR IN TERMS OF THE SUPERGROUP'S CONCERTS. THOUGH MOST OF THE 1970 SHOWS WERE RECORDED (MICK RALPHS REQUIREMENT), THEY WERE NEVER RELEASED IN A PROPER FORMAT. I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE HARDER EDGE TO THE SONGS WITH NO OVERDUBBING GUARANTEED. BUY IT AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

When I saw this Bad Company Live in Concert Double CD on the rack, I decided to pick it up just to look at it. I already own so many Bad Company CD's and concert videos, I didn't expect to find anything different. Was I wrong! Yes all of the classic radio friendly hits are contained on these CD's. But what sold me on it was there are so many "B- Sides" songs on the disks. Songs that you never hear on radio or see the present day Bad Company perform. Songs like "Evil Wind", "Gone, Gone, Gone", "Rhythm Machine", "Leaving You", "Passing Time", "Too Bad", etc. All performed live from concerts in 1977 and 1979 during their peak. I saw them perform a few times during the '70's and these B-Sides songs bring back some great memories. This double live CD is a great collector's item for the hard core Bad Company fan.

My anticipation for the release of this was not a disappointment. It brought back a vivid portrait of Allusions of Grandeur just as I remembered them .Sometimes when you get older your recollections aren't quiet as accurate. Boy was I surprised when I gave this a listen. Cause I was truly blessed to have seen both of these tours August 18th 77' & JUIY 12th.79' it seems they are all here they even thru in Heartbeat & Gone, Gone, Gone two truly underrated songs in a library of awesome songs is a testament to great magnjtude .Paul Rogers is not only a great front man but also a great singer. Git it you won't regret it !!!

This is a solid representation of the original Bad Company from their best years as a performing band. Two shows in one 2-CD set without too much repetition of songs from one set to the next. The sound is full and their performances are tight. If you're a fan, it's worth the price of admission.

This double CD package is great,
There is not a single bad track here.
If you are a fan of Bad Company or a fan of Classic Rock, this is a must.
The recordings have no overdubs and you can feel how tight the band was live.
If I had to choose one single album from the band, this would be it!

Two amazing tlive shows from Bad Company at the top of their game. The recordings are top notch, and Paul Rodgers continually shows what a great blues singer he is.

They are the def. of pure rock and roll. This is recorded when they were hitting their stride as a band. I highly recommend it and the other reissues of their first two albums.

Seen Bad Co. several times with Paul Rodgers, Brian Howe, etc...on vocals. But the best crooner has to be Mr.Rodgers, these shows show a bit of that.

A very good double-live CD from Bad Company taken from two concerts. Good rocking all the way through, with "Simple Man," "Morning Sun," and "Feel Like Making Love" the best of the lot, but it's all good. A nice, rare buy.

Bad Company sounded great and loose on these disks. Wanted to hear them from that era. Bonus is one of the disks was recorded in Houston.

Paul Rodgers is one of the greatest vocalist in rock. His vocals really carried the band. The band always seemed to play 2nd fiddle to Zeppelin and their material mellowed in their late period . They do belong in the RRHOF

The first official live album from the original group. Of course the focus is on hits but there are some deep cuts as well. I don't know why they aren't in the RRHOF!

Similar but different concerts recorded two years apart. Paul Rodgers vocals are terrific in a 'live' setting.
