This one is a great addition to any Neil Young fan's collection, or great to help kickstart someone else's fandom! Live recording sounds great!!

When I saw the date of this concert before I purchased this, my first thought was "this concert was between After The Gold Rush and Harvest and contains songs not heard until later albums." I was more excited to find this out than I have ever been about another album. This concert was a trial run for a lot of songs. The song 'Ohio' done on acoustic guitar was filled with more emotion than when it was released with CSNY. Neil introduced 'Heart Of Gold' on the piano and made my heart melt. Being a music aficionado, I always want to know where a song comes from and why it was written...well before Neil played the song 'Old Man' he gave an elaborate explanation of what inspired him to write the song. Sure there are a lot of bootlegs out there that could've been remastered and released...but given the time and which albums and songs had been heard...I don't think there could be another album quite like 'Like At Massey Hall.'

This is Neil Young at the pinnacle of his carreer. Then outstanding new songs and relatively new ones highlight an ingredible musucian at his peak as a singer songwriter. This is one his best of a huge catalog of releases.
