This movie is not bad its actually pretty good it brings an updated look at the old Mob era and has a bit of a different twist added in. A good movie to add to your collection.

I'm not entirely sure if it's Affleck's direction or screenwriting that didn't quite hit the mark on this film, or if Dennis Lehane's book was too sprawling to be condensed into a viable drama. While this movie looks great (production design, costumes, etc.) it lacks a kind of connectivity that an audience needs, even if the main character is a gangster. I love period crime dramas and enjoyed looking at this movie more than watching it. I would recommend this only for the visuals.

Yes Live at Night is interesteing and it showes the Mobster were ruthless during prohibition. not perfrect but better than I expected

Not the best mob movie ever made, but it was entertaining. Affleck does fall a little flat in this movie, but his directing style is still on point.

Ben Affleck, love him or hate him, gives an outstanding performance in Live By Night! The costume and scenery throughout only enhance the enjoyment of this film. Zoe Saldana is an outstanding & beautiful actress at her finest here. Drama. Romance, Gangster style movie is a must see!!

This is a good movie. Ben is expanding his talents and showing his versatility. While it is not as good as the accountant, it is a very good movie!

This movie is pretty good. It's older now so it probably is discounted. Worth any price of admission really.

Excellent film. Not as tight as his Boston bank robbery epic. Characters need additional focus. Excellent effort and production values.

I found all of the characters to be very believable. I enjoyed the film. I loved the retro aspect.

Another great project from Ben Affleck, who wrote the screenplay, directed and acted the heck out of this movie!! Ben is intense and passionate about his work, and I appreciate that intensity! HaHa just had to change H E double hockey sticks into HECK!!

I did not see this at the theater so I did not know what to expect ... I really liked the movie and am happy with my purchase.

I sad this movie did not do very well, for when I watched it. the movie was very well written. I liked how the main character was able to work with non Italian people and against his enemies. The twist at the end of the movie was sensational.

In my opinion, Ben Affleck cannot direct a bad movie. He's got a gift and this film proves again that he's Oscar worthy.

Ben Affleck proves yet again that he's a bonafide director. Not as good as Argo, but it'll do. Standard bluray packaging.
