This is like "Ground Hog Day" Meets an "Alien Invasion Movie" and they have a Very Precocious kid!!! WONDERFUL MOVIE TOM! Mr.Cruise has another EXCELLENT roller-coaster-ride flick! I thought my mind was expanded with the twists in "Oblivion"- but this movie really makes a point for Time Travel & The 'Verse!! If you have ever gotten home from your day, slumped onto your couch- & wished you could have done it differently-SEE THIS MOVIE!! If you want a Flick that will work out your home theater, your new Widescreen Flat-panel TV- & your BRAIN- SEE THIS MOVIE!! Thrill ride with a Capital "T"! Action & adventure-and then again, and then again, and then again, and then again.........This movie will keep your interest, and keep you guessing, ALL the way through! Glad I purchased it! Very High marks on blu-ray.com for picture and sound! Great movie to show off your Man Cave's Sound system!! GO GET IT!!!

Read the novel and this is better than average adaptation. Fun movie night:).

Greeted by a taunting and zealous sound-track and a major attach on Earth, on a world-wide basis, by an alien invasion force called “minics.” The story line is the eternal quest to destroy the “minic” leader Omega (Ω) – it keeps this story moving forward until the mission is complete. The film also tells the story of a coward and a liar who is the center-piece of the most unusual combat sci-fi film. This movie is well-acted, superbly choreographed, with striking cinematography that is brilliantly augmented by CGI, and it is an attention-holder – put it all together and you have an entertaining viewing experience. The acting-out of the character Rita by Emily Blunt was over-the-top as-well-as her “pushups,” and Cruise was on top of his game. This is an enlightened Sci-Fi that entertains in a very imaginative way.

AWESOME movie, i can watch this movie over and over!!!

Say what you will about Tom Cruise, but the man knows how to make great science fiction movies. EDGE OF TOMORROW was horribly titled. It is based on a manga comic book called ALL YOU NEED IS KILL. They should have kept the original title, because later they added "live, die, repeat" to help the horrible "edge of tomorrow." But don't let that deter you... this is a GREAT movie. A man is unceremoniously drafted into a grunt force to take part on a Normandy style attack on aliens that have invaded earth. But something strange happens, and the man gets stuck in a 'loop' of events... in that he is forced to re-live the day of the attack every time he dies. The hero has to find a way to take out the aliens before the loop is ended. Great imaginative story, fantastic special effects, great characters... lots to enjoy. Highly recommended for SCIENCE FICTION film fans!!!

Not a lot of people knew about this movie. It was a great sci-fi original.
