    There was something truly special about the ‘83/’84 era line-up of Whitesnake as it’s the one that featured the unforgettable Cozy Powell (Rainbow, MSG, Black Sabbath etc.) on drums, Neil Murray (Black Sabbath, Gary Moore) on bass and the impressive John Sykes (Tygers of Pan Tang) on lead guitar alongside the ever-charismatic David Coverdale. This was a period where they were holding firmly onto their bluesy roots and reaching out for a heavier crunchy rock sound. John Sykes brought a perfect mesh of the sound they wanted to present to the world during this period. This is a great audio and visual treat for Whitesnake fans and fans of the early 80's rock period before the cans of Aquanet hairspray exploded.

    Slide It In was a favorite back in the 80's. I never was the band perform live, so this DVD is a treat. Awesome performances by Sykes and Cozy, and Coverdale is fun to watch at his sleazy, vamping best.

    This is probably the best line-up of Whitesnake ever, with the amazing talents of guitarist John Sykes front and center!! Fantastic concert!

    An absolutely terrific example of the greatness that is David Coverdale & Whitesnake! One of the best line ups and a great set list!
