My nephew uses this camera, and I remember being stunned by the video quality during a Skype call. So when I needed one for my new computer, and saw the great price on the Best Buy website, I ordered it without doing my usual comparison shopping. It was a snap to set up and use, and we were up and running in no time. Our Skype contacts immediately noticed the superior quality. Haven't done anything else with it yet, but I believe there are other features waiting to be explored.

I would not buy again or recommend...I was disappointed in the webcam.. I replaced a rocket fish webcam and was happier with that.

The webcam is great! The only issue I have (thus the 4 stars) is that it did not come with the install CD that is needed per the instructions.. Not a huge deal as I went to Logitech's website and downloaded the driver, but this could be an issue for others. Come on Best Buy/Logitech!!! What are you thinking??? All kidding aside- the camera is very good, the microphone is not distorted when Skype-ing and it is easy to use.

This web cam was very easy to install. When I made my first Skype call to my brother to try it out I did not tell him that I had a new web cam. The very first comment he made was "Wow what a good clear picture that is!" Well that was good enough for me. He basically wrote this review. Shortly after we finished our Skype call he called me on the phone to ask me the make and model of the web cam that I had just bought so that he could purchase the same one. One concern that I had was the fact that it has a fixed focus and that I would have to be careful about my distance from the web cam so that my face would be in focus. That turns out not to be a problem at all. No matter where I sit my face is in focus. And as a matter of a fact, the books on the shelves across the room behind me are also in focus. So clear focus should not be a problem. The sound is good too. By this item; you will like it. It is currently on sale for $30, so that is another positive feature.

Bought this for my parent's HP Media Center PC, which is about 5 years old running Windows XP. I was concerned that this newer camera may not work well with their older computer, however it works great! There is only one USB cable to connect to the PC, and one CD to install. The most difficult part of the installation was trying to remove the camera from the package. The RightLight feature where the image automatically brightens in a dimly-lit room is a definite plus. The image quality is like watching oneself on an HDTV—very vibrant and sharp.

The web cam was on sale, almost half off so I went for it. A great HD cam for the price I paid and well worth it al regular price. Easy setup and works with Windows 7 and Skype. The mic works well (when on the other end of the conversation.)

I simply love my new webcam. I just had my video conference which was the reason why I bought it, and I had a wonderful experience. The built in mic was wonderful, and I did not have any problem communicating. The picture was great and it was so clear all the time. I loved the feature that follows my movement while talking. I don't know a lot about technology, and I was afraid I was going to have a hard time installing the webcam and learning how to work with it. It was a piece of cake. Thanks logitech!!!!!! I recommend the webcam without any doubt. I think it is a wise purchase.

This is the first webcam I have ever owned. I bought one because my son is in the Army and was sent overseas. Very easy to set up, and the picture and sound quality are very good. I was talking and seeing my son half-way around the world in literally minutes from the time I opened the box.

This little webcam may not have all the bells and whistles that the others have, but it has a great 720p picture that it captures and the microphone is of a decent quality. As with any stand-alone microphones, it has occasional feedback that can be heard by the other parties, and it doesn't have auto-focus on its own, but it's still a pretty great and reasonably priced camera.

This product is unbeatable. The price is outstandingly low. The picture quality from Florida to England is crystal clear. The mic is clear and works well too. It's easy to use. Just plug and play. I'm running windows vista and my friend has windows 7. It works perfectly fine on both. Don't pass this product up.

I bought this camera for my wife to use on Zoom calls. It mounted on top of the flat-panel display with no tools. We've had it about a month now and it works great. The picture is very clear and there is no motion blur.

This webcam is great! I just bought it today and wasn't sure what to expect but I can now say that I am very satisfied with this product. It was very easy to install and use. I read an earlier review warning that the installation software may not be compatible with WD Smartware software if it is already installed on your computer so I didn't think I would be able to use this product. But in fact I had no problem installing the logitech software on my computer with the WD Smartware software already there so don't let that earlier review discourage you if this is your case.

One of the biggest aspects I was looking for when buying this webcam was its compatibility with Macs. It came with a CD to install software on, but my laptop has no disc drive. So I tried plugging it straight into the computer, and it worked right away without any flaws. It works with FaceTime, Photo Booth, Skype, everything. The only minor annoyance is that sometimes when it's plugged in before the app is started, it will automatically revert to the default webcam when you bring the app up, until you unplug it and plug it back in. Not a big issue as I mainly use it for only Skype interviews or calls and rarely have it plugged in. In Skype, you have to set the preferences to use the webcam rather than the default. The form of webcam makes for easy storage when not in use. The rubber grip allows it to stay in place while not scratching the back of your computer. I wish the swivel were a bit wider, but that can be fixed by adjusting the angle of the stand. It was a little pricey, but it is a great webcam with very nice video quality and efficient compatibility with Macs.

I bought this camera to Skype with my daughter in college. Works great! Easy to use and setup. The built in microphone is awesome. My 70 y/o Dad had me get one for him and he uses it everyday with ease. This thing is really neat!

My daughter got this to Skype with her friends. It was fairly easy to set up and does what she wanted it to do. I'm pleased that it works decently and was inexpensive.

I bought a much more expensive webcam about a year ago and after a week of frustration I returned it. I saw this on sale in the Best Buy store and decided to try it again. I was a bit nervous because I didn't want to have another maddening experience with trying to set this up and have it work. It was so easy... and it works flawlessly. I would highly recommended this if you are tech challenged like I am.

Great webcam! Just plugged in the usb port & was using Skype in minutes. Picture clarity is exceptional...everyone I have Skyped with comments on how clear the video is on my end. My sister has already bought this webcam for herself because she was so impressed with the quality of mine.

Easy to use. Great value for price. I am a software engineer and just needed a simple to use camera for a demo. I got this one on sale for $30 at the time. I didn't need all the bells and whistles. I just needed good quality picture and an easy setup. After I used it I was so pleased with it I went to go buy two more for grandparents to see the grandkids. It is that easy to use. I was disappointed it was back to full price. Next time I see it on sale I am buying two more though.
