I use this 24/7 as a monitoring camera. It's worked perfectly without any problems. The video quality is excellent. The lack of auto focus is a plus because that causes issues with motion recording. I'm very happy with this purchase. The only very minor complaint I have with this camera is that for about an hour a day during sundown, it flickers between lighter and darker in short intervals as it tries to auto adjust the lightness. No big deal at all. Great webcam!

Bought this web cam for use with Skype. Signed up skype account in 2 minutes, unpacked web cam with all the packaging 5 minutes, connected web cam USB cable 20 seconds. I'm on skype. Hardest part was packaging. Clear picture, no need to CD installation or any other software. Once Skype was loaded, this was simply plug and play. However the 510 series just went on sale for less than this 310 series, so I may return it and upgrade for less. I operate Vista (unfortunately) and thsi was no problem with my system.

The 300 series is a great value especially when you're just getting started in the web-cam world. It has great pic & sound quality compared to the 100 series and the 200 series (grainier pic quality). Although I am a firm believer in the Logitech brand, the 300 series just seems easier to adjust to get the picture resolution of which I have received countless compliments on the clarity and vibrant colors!

Bought this for my not-so-tech-savvy mother. It was a breeze to install - literally 5 minutes from box to video feed. The sound and picture quality are great for her Skype use, even over DSL internet connection.

My ancient webcam didn't work with my new computer, and I had a Skype video meeting in just one day. What to do? I found this camera on sale at Best Buy. The specs were good -- way better than my old one. The reviews I could find were good. I bought it over the Internet and picked it up that evening in my local Best Buy store. Took it home and hooked it up. Worked right out of the box. Worked with Skype from the first test call. My meeting was a success, and so were subsequent video conferences. (Video is important here. I'm a golf consultant, so things like swing nuances matter. We can't just tell, we have to show.) There are a few negatives to this overall excellent product: (1) It is too light to put down on a flat surface and expect it to stay aimed. You must find someplace suitable for the rather strange and marginally effective clip. (2) Its most wide-angle setting is too tight. I have to get back too far from the computer for most interaction, or else fill the whole screen from the top of the shoulders up.

I ordered this camera because I'm beginning to stream online, and this is perfect quality for it. Perfect for streaming and video chatting. Great improvement from my other old webcam. This also has great performance if there's bad lighting.

Webcam works very well. Had no problem with installation, and looks and sounds great on the other end. Would highly recommend! Never had a bad Logitech product.

I bought this webcam to add to our slimline desktop. I'm absolutely amazed by the quality of the image. It was easy to install, easy to use, and much better video quality than laptop webcams.

I had a job interview with a search consultant out of CA. They conduct their first interviews via Skype video conf., which I had not used. So, off I was scrambling for an inexpensive webcam and found this at BB on sale for $29.99 (still a bargain at $49.99). I got a Skype account, plugged in the Logitech c310 and I was in business in minutes. During the interview the consultant even commented on the clarity of the audio and video. All I know is that I made it to the second round!

I bought this webcam for myself and one for my dad for Christmas. He is so excited at how easy it is to use. Quick install, quick program download (for Windows 7 users), and easy to operate. Home run gift!

This webcam works well for the price. Not magnificent by any stretch, but picture is consistently good as well as audio. I do like the included software that lets you put funny "filters" on the image. For Skype, this is money. Just remember its only 720p HD.

I needed a webcam and found this one on the Best Buy site. This webcam was on sale and the specifications met my needs. I was able to purchase it and have it shipped for free. The device mounted easily on my flat screen monitor and connects via USB. The disc made the installation a breeze and I was on Skype shortly there after. The video quality is excellent. I feel confident that if the specifications meet your needs you will be delighted with this product.

This is my 1st review for a webcam. I always had issues with external webcams either the video quality wasn't good or had to go find the software to install before configuring the webcam to my laptop. BUT this cam is just amazing. Great Great Great video quality and plug and play. So easy that i just love it. I highly recommend this equipment.

My built-in laptop camera works pretty good but when I connected this camera I immediately saw a big difference in low light levels. Great camera and you really can't go wrong with this model.

Easy set up. Works very well. I have been very happy with Logitech products that I have bought in the past and this worked just as well as the others did.

My children go to a virtual academy and use this camera frequently. I love that you can use the built-in microphone without even cutting on the webcam. They are young in age and have no problems navigating the controls. It is super-easy to use and was a great buy for under 50 dollars.

This is a great easy to use camera, just sits on top of you monitor. Plus it is HD, so you see everything.

The camera is very small but covers a large area when in use. It was easy to set up and has performed in top notch fashion each time I've put it to use. A great product.
