I have used laptop built-in cameras for while so I never paid attention to other webcams. Since I got a desktop, I wanted one. This webcam is much better the laptop built-in cameras. HD, good frame rate, wide angle. Now, my computer is the go to "device" for video calls rather than my phone, tablet or laptop when I'm home.

Hi. This webcam delivers a sharp view of yourself, better than a mirror image by far. The imaging exceeded my expectations. The sound is fine. My videos unfold as if in real time without any lag or jerkiness. The field of view is 78 degrees, which I like because I'm trying to keep the focus on my workspace. This has its own software!

Setup was pretty-much a no-brainer. The picture quality is surprisingly good (I'm remembering the older webcams). It says it is 1080p HD. Sound is actually stereo. I'm glad it had a base, since I couldn't mount it on my monitor. It was worth the money. I would have loved to able to mount it ON the monitor, instead of setting it on my monitor's base, but that's minor.

This is an older model in its series of products and though it's a pretty old model, the video quality is very good compared to my old iMac. The sound quality produced by the mic is not for broadcast but the video is! The mic is clear enough but if you do webcasting, I would recommend a quality microphone. Color rendition is pretty accurate under fluorescent white light, there is very little lag and no image trailing when casting at 30 FPS. It works great in low light too but I would recommend using a non-glaring lamp for frontal lighting for the best results. I really like it and would recommend it. It is compatible with Green Screens too. The 15 mpixel sensor takes clear pictures too but I see little use of it in my case and it's nice too have. It works in both my Mac Mini and Windows computers and I could not ask for more. I got it at Bestbuy's sale ($53 bucks) and I used my rewards points to further lower down the price to just around $6. Bestbuy Rewards + Sale = Unbeatable price.

This camera is not only incredibly user friendly (just plug in and go) but it also has amazing quality. The settings like auto focus, face-focus, and zoom-in settings still keep the 1080 quality. The audio I’ve only used once or twice but the quality seems awesome there as well!

Very easy to install and set up. Has a good picture and a pretty good mic. I haven't had any problems with it so far. BTW it does not come with any software in the package. You will have to download that from Logitech's website.

I knew this would have great picture. What surprised me was the mic quality. People say they hear me very clearly. So clearly that I quite using my nice headset mic. Really a nice camera. I had the Microsoft Life Cam before this. It was fine, but this is better built AND better resolution.

Crystal clear audio and picture even in low light. We use this webcam for international video conferencing, and haven't had a problem with it. Setup was simple and all the different mounting options are great.

I purchased this webcam when it was on sale for around $60 from the original price of $99. I was looking at this webcam for quite sometime and finally decided to buy it. After checking it out I can say that the video as well as the picture quality are very good as long as your lighting is good in the room. If it's not the video can look a bit weird because of it but overall this webcam is very nice. Now for the software... For it being a nicer webcam and more on the pricey side Logitech sure didn't make the software to go with that. The software CANNOT go full screen, it doesn't have many features and is just a big disappointment. For such a nice webcam they don't give you software capable of seeing it bigger and better. Windows 10 has a camera app in the store that works with this webcam but it down't allow you to use the features that the webcam software has but you can go fullscreen. I would have given this 5 stars if the software was better but the webcam itself is very good.

I installed this webcam AFTER I upgraded my computer to Windows 10. The installation of the webcam and software was simple and went smoothly. The quality of the webcam itself (it is well built) and the images it produced were superior. However, after some hardware (hard drive) problems and restoration from backup to repair the drive, the webcam was recognized by Windows 10 but did not function. Logitech support was OK but not superior (like most support nowadays) and after following instructions the unit still did not work. Online search suggested that my problems could be solved by reinstalling the Windows 10 upgrade. I performed this task and all went well and all worked well as before. (In addition, my computer also worked much better). Note: Make sure to download and use the latest Windows 10 App for the C920 webcam. If it does not load automatically, download it from Logitech support. Also, register the product. It make matter a little simpler.

I needed a high quality camera for a job interview Skype. I looked at the reviews and decided this model was the best balance of quality and value. I found the unit easy to set up. Easy to use features and a high quality image.

This webcam has great quality. I bought it on a whim because I wanted a webcam for my MacBook Air that could be repositioned. While on the box, it does not mention support for OSX, there is indeed an app/driver available on the App Store. I just plugged in this webcam, download the Logitech app from the App Store and this camera works like a champ. Full HD video recording and stereo audio pick up from the built in microphones. This has been a great additional camera, and I highly suggest it to anyone whether you want to mount it on the top of you laptop or take advantage of the tripod threaded option.

this camera is great! Easy to use and set up and really clear video image in Skype. Great item to get for family or friends that are distant to use over Skype. This camera does focus so in my case my niece and nephew can show me all there toys and the camera focuses When they smoother them up to the camera letting me see drawings and toys in great detail. Great security camera as well as it comes with downloadable software from the Logitech website. This software allows the user to set up the camera for motion sense. This means the camera will turn on and off in a event of motion only recording whatever is moving in front of the camera. Records video and audio in 1080. This camera does not need software to use for Skype. It's a simple plug and play.

I bought this webcam to start live streaming and getting facecams for my gameplay videos. The quality is surprisingly really good. Even in low light situations, the webcam performed well. I could tell you right now that if you're thinking of just sticking with your pre-installed webcam on your laptop or want to upgrade from an older webcam, this is definitely worth it. The camera captures a pretty wide angle shot of you and the depth of field is clear too. Like I've mentioned before, low light situations aren't a problem to this webcam. The webcam itself has a pretty cool adjustable stand that can also just hang on top of a laptop screen with ease. I would give it 5 stars but there's only one thing I'm not too crazy about. The microphone. Of course, what can I expect. It's a webcam, not a separate microphone device. But in my experience, the audio does seem pretty flat and echoey, if that makes any sense. It's not a problem of any significance, let alone a problem any average consumer should worry about, but if you're like me who makes videos and wants the best sound quality, definitely buy a mic.

I made a few videos for YouTube with my web cam that came with my computer and I thought the video was terrible. I went to Best Buy and found this Logitech C920 for $50. After I came home, I was hoping it would work on my laptop. I use a System76 Kudu Linux Ubuntu 17.10 laptop and after I plugged it in, it worked perfect. I opened a program called Cheese and the new camera came on. This is a very clear picture and the sound works great. Also, another note that I didn't realize until later. I took the Tripod Quick Release Plate Screw Adapter Mount Head off of my DSLR Camera and it fit right on my tripod at home. Linux Ubuntu Pop!_OS approved!

Easy to set up, easy to install, picture looks great and the mics are okay. Overall I was very impressed with this webcam and it definitely deserves the high marks it receives across the Internet.

You need to spend sometime setting it up! But so far this is the best one I have had! Since I connect my MacBook pro to a monitor, I couldn't find a better camera besides the built-in. This is way better than the built-in camera, however using the mic may cause to echo, and sometimes yo may have to manually choose the camera from the FaceTime menu. Good video quality and field of view! and it is mountable. I have mounted it on a Asus 27 inch monitor!

Simple to install, easy to use, clear picture with plenty of adjustment options for video and still pictures. Voice pick up much better than the previous version used.

Pretty high resolution for such a small device and a reasonable price. I purchased 2 of them to conduct a video conference remotely with a group of about 15 people in a room. The presenter was 300 miles away using the same C920 model webcam on their computer as the one we had placed on the laptop here at the conference meeting. The setup was easy and quick. Setup on both MAC and PC. The presenter was amazed that they could see and hear everyone in the room so clearly. Just make sure u have ample lighting in the rooms where the webcams are used or you may notice a lag. If u have ample lighting you are good to go. Doesn't need to be flood lights or anything serious like that. Even the audio was pretty clear. For the conference room, we did use a good set of speakers to hear the presenter since the space was larger. The presenter only needed to talk through their webcam and didnt require a separate microphone. When people in the conference room spoke, we did use a mike so the presenter could hear questions clearly since we had multiple people in the room. Very pleased over all. We used Google video chat since it was free with our Gmail addresses.
