Also, they always seem to be falling off when removing my headset. Overall, I don’t recommend these unless your original OEM Soundsystem doesn’t work.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit unsure as to whether or not these audio accessories were needed. I never had any problem with the built-in audio coming out of the Oculus/Meta Quest 2. But trying these headphones on, I experienced enhanced (and louder) sound and immersion. The installation is mindlessly simple and took no time to set up. The headphones slide on, but I wouldn't say they completely snap in place. I found it fairly easy to slide on and off. Charging the Quest 2 is done via a passthrough (more on this in a bit), and the headphones create a bit of extra width (and slight weight) from the headset overall...but strangely, I found this to be a good thing. One other cool feature is that you can rotate the headphone up to mute the sound. But there come a couple trade offs.... For one, if you carry your Quest 2 around in the official gray felt case...well, that's not going to work anymore with the headphones attached. Also, if you use an Oculus Link cable to play PC VR games, that doesn't work with the headphone's pass-thru port. Only charging. Dude. Again, the sound coming through the Chorus is pretty good. I use Air Link now, so I don't have to worry about the PC VR. They also work well with the Quest 2 Elite Straps. Plus I can fit it inside the Meta Quest 2 case - if I detach the headphones and kinda squish them in there. So...I guess that OK...?

The speakers are away from your ear which probably decreases the volume...they feel durable with metal mesh build, but added weight not worth the investment.
