Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the excellent sound quality and ease of use of the Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2. Many appreciate its lightweight design and improved bass response, although some users note that battery life could be better and that compatibility issues exist with certain accessories. The price point is also a subject of some discussion. A few users found the USB-C connection to be less than ideal.

Once installed, This speaker headset system offers a higher level of immersive sound. Logitech Chorus is an excellent addition to your Meta Quest 2 VR headset. Your games will grab you and take you in a new direction of stereo bliss. It has dynamic audio optimization with an integrated DSP system. I was skeptical of the off-ear design, but the sound quality blew me away. It was very comfortable to wear with the headband. It is fully adjustable to most head sizes. I did miss buttons to control the sound, but I did include a back button. And it has hours of play time as it gets powered by a USB cord that you plug directly into the meta quest headset. And if it gets to be a little too much for you, you flip it up, and it's muted. It turns the audio off immediately. It's a straightforward design. But it does the job, and it packs a nice punch. I recommend it to anyone with the Oculus quest two or Meta Quest Headsets. There are a lot of headset choices available, but you can never go wrong with Logitech. Do yourself f a favor and give this one a go.

Over the course of time that I have had my Quest 2, I have always wondered if there was a solution for better sounding audio without blocking my ears and making it difficult to hear environmental sounds because of headphones or earbuds. The Logitech Chorus offers an upgrade to the built-in sound quality while keeping an off-ear approach to do so. They were extremely easy to install and worked fine with my Elite strap with battery. No configuration is necessary, just install them via the directions and adjust the volume on your Quest 2 to your liking when you finish. It is hard to say if they draw any significant amount of battery while in use, but they do connect through the USB-connector on the headset and have a passthrough for my battery connection or connect to external power if that is how you use yours. Most important, is the sound quality. I found that at full volume, the Chorus did not care for too much bass without distorting, but slightly lowering the volume seemed to correct that. They are an improvement over the built-in speakers, but still fall short of sounding better than in/on-ear solutions. What I do find convenient is that I can just leave them attached to the headset and place everything on my stand I have. I do not have to assemble or disassemble anything once they are installed. They are good enough for daily use and I have enjoyed using them so far. I would recommend this if you wanted a lightweight, easy to use, decent audio for most needs and convenient open-ear audio solution for your Quest 2, this is for you.

These are really well built and feel definitely feel like they were made to be used with the Quest 2. Note: these will not fit on the meta quest pro head strap. The earphones portion is made with metal which feels like it could withstand some wear and tear. What I really love about these is that they don’t sit on the ear but float off the ear, which was super comfortable while not really adding noticeable weight. I wish they had a little more movement so I could get the positioning just right. I appreciate the “flip up to mute” functionality. Logitech was thoughtful in their design inasmuch that they added passthrough USB-C charging which is great if you plan to use these for long amounts of time. Installation was simple. Simply slide the headphones over the headset strap and plug in the USB C connector and they work. They instantly were recognized by the Oculus Quest 2. The sound quality is great. The headphones are a significant improvement over the onboard speakers. Even though they are off ear they still sound very full. The off ear positioning makes the sounds seem more realistic. I tested these with a few games like Beat Saber and The Climb. I also tested them on YouTube with both videos and music. In all cases, they either met or exceeded expectations. Overall, I’d recommend these if you are looking for good sounding headphones that integrates perfectly with the Meta Quest 2.

Improves the Meta Quest 2 VR Experience

I have had the original Oculus Quest and Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 for several years now. They are great devices for viewing movies, playing games, etc., but one area where they have been lacking is audio. If you are watching a Netflix movie on a big screen or immersed in an intensive video game, you want sound to match. The Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 fills that void. The Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio is an attractive addition specifically made for the Meta Quest 2. It feels high quality, light, and is comfortable to wear. No additional power source is required. The unit simply slides into the Meta Quest 2 using the usb-c power passthrough. An easy to use mute feature is also provided. In using the Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 in games like Beat Saber, sound was much more immersive and lead to greater enjoyment of game play. Although fully immersive, when wearing you can hear the outside environment and the outside environment (evidently) can hear you. The ability to hear the outside environment is intentional and allows you to be aware of your environment. I highly recommend the Logitech - Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 as an accessory the Meta Quest 2 if you want to get even greater enjoyment from your VR headset.

The last touch to make it perfect

Adding to an already amazing experience is right up my alley. First things first comfort, these things are comfortable. They fit perfectly over the ears and even better for small children. My kids couldn't get enough, but if this is for children, understand the small flaw that that immersive of an experience is going to create a lack of attention to calling them for dinner. Dinner so be prepared. For adults, it's purely awesome. There are a few VR apps out there that you're able to enjoy by adding the headphones makes for a really over the top experience. Not to mention gaming. There is some way over the top stuff going on whenever your gaming. The immersive experience is just what VR was meant to be. If I could do anything past highly recommend, that's what I would do. Really sets off your experience. Not very hard to install or set up. Just a little time-consuming. Once you get a nice groove going of how to connect it, put it over your head or over your small loved ones head you'll be good to go. Definitely get your hands on this. It is a must-have for that last little touch of a perfect immersive experience.

Great addition to the Meta Quest 2.. the one thing that the Meta Quest 2 lacked out of the box, was quality sound. I missed that from the Rift. For a while I sued a custom set of ear buds, and that was okay, but still didn't block out all the sound. Now these. Great sound, easy to connect. Keeps the ear mostly covered (not complete), and provide a pretty good sound for game and other usage. I used this mostly for Beat Saber, and was right into it, and the usage was great. One down side, and it is minor, that the case I have, they now are a bit snug with the ear piece in place. So need to take some caution there. really didn't notice a shift in weight, I am sure they are a tad heavier, but really didn't notice during my usage. These connect to the USB-C port of the head set, and have a pass through USB-C charger. So if you have a setup where your usb-C charging is custom, or anything be prepared to make some adjustments. .

The Perfect Solution to an Ongoing Problem

I have been trying to get great sound on my Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 for the last few years. I first used the Oculus Quest 2 without any headphones just using it's internal sound. It was OK, but hardly immersive. I then tried using Bluetooth headphones the sound was better but it was uncomfortable wearing the Oculus Quest and the headphones over my head as it was very confining and tended to shift as I moved so that wasn't a great solution either. I then tried using Bluetooth earbuds and although they were good quality, expensive ones, they sometime lost the connection since technically the Oculus Quest wasn't really designed to support Bluetooth in the first place. I then tried using the standard Apple earbuds that plugged into the headphone jack. The audio was fine but I hated having the wires dangling as I moved around. I tried bundling them up but when I had to take a break, it was difficult to get out of them. This Logitech - Chorus is the product that should have come out when the Oculus (Meta) Quest 2 first came out. It slides over the two side pieces that hold the strap and the speakers hang over the ears, not on the ears but next to the ears so I don't have anything annoying me and I don't get distracted having to adjust earbuds or headphones to get comfortable. The Chorus plugs into the USB-C jack and there is a jack on the bottom of it to plug in an external battery or plug into electric to charge the entire unit. The ear pieces are hinged so they can be flipped up from my ears if I hear the phone ring or somebody talks to me. The sound is very rich and full so it sounds great whether I am playing a game or watching a movie. You can hear the tiniest sounds to the loudest explosions the way you are supposed to hear them. I finally found the perfect solution to a problem I have been putting up with since I first got the Quest 2 over 2 years ago.

The Quest 2 audio output leaves a lot to be desired. Don't get me wrong... it's adequate but there are other solutions to make for a better experience. Logitech has this very unique solution to punch up your game. The Chorus enhances any game play or content viewing. Since they are positioned near your ears and don't cover thjem you can hear around you any ambient noise. With the open air speakers you get a big sound stage effect (sound stage is where you get a three-dimensional projection of the sound) making it a totally immersive experience. Installation is a breeze. The stems slide over the pivot mount for the head straps. They don't click in place but it is a solid friction fit so they are firmly held in place even with epic Beat Saber games. If you decide to take them off of the Quest it just slides off. There is a USB-C connector on the left stem which plugs into the Quest 2 for not only sound but the Quest powers the Chorus from that USB-C connection. The Chorus also has a USB-C port for connection to a computer or charger so no need to remove it to charge the Quest. The Chorus does not have a battery so no need to attempt to charge it separately. I do like the flip up to mute feature as well. With the speaker(driver) so close to your ear there may be times that you need to mute it... very nice! For a $100 unit I think it's well worth the money. It does a great job of enhancing the sound and creating a more immersive game play. It would be nice if there was an app

These are an upgrade from default Quest 2 speakers

The Logitech Chorus Off-Ear Integrated Audio for Meta Quest 2 was an upgrade from the default speaker system that was included with the Quest 2. The sound was clearer than the default speakers, and the best example I can give is that when I heard ‘wind’ blowing (such as at some of the menus) it sounded more like real wind than something coming out of a cheap speaker. The speakers seemed to be able to be positioned in one of three positions, in the upmost position they are muted (which is terrific to be able to do), the next position is one click down which is right over the ear (but in my case, this touched my ear and was uncomfortable), and the downmost position which is where I wound up using it (good comfort and position for sound). The installation of the Logitech Chorus is simple, you first plug in the USB C cable from the Chorus into the headset. Next, you slide the side with the USB connector right over the headset strap (this was easy to do), run the cable which goes to the opposite side over the top of the headset, and then slide on the opposite side. Charging happens through a passthrough port on the underside of the chorus on the one side. There is no need to charge the chorus separately, they are powered by the Quest 2.

Looking to elevate your hearing and in game experience? The Logitech Chorus accessory is taking that experience up a notch. With Virtual Reality immersion is key, so it’s only sensible that sound would play a big role into that. Upon getting them it took a few minutes to get them attached to my meta headset. The color Went perfectly with set and was easy to install. I slid on the headset and wow, so loud and clear just from the start up. I started playing beat saber as it’s big on the sound. First, the sound through these pack a punch. I felt like I was in the middle of a concert with how loud, crisp and bass reverb was coming through. I played for about forty five minutes my first test. The comfort of these were nice! No irritation on the head or ears. For the lengthy session I can’t see these being a bother as they are placed perfectly to push audio directly to ears. In the end, I think this is the best option available for an audio solution that elevates your Virtual reality experience. Must have for any meta owner.

We got a Meta Quest 2 during the summer, for my son, for his birthday and part of the big sell was that the whole family could use it... however, he's certainly the one logging the most hours on the device. He was so excited to try this device out and I we were both SUPER impressed! I'll start by saying that he's 10 and therefore "hip" to all of the current tech, but he's not very well versed in tech products and I typically play the part of the IT Manager of our home. I say all of that to say that he attached this device to the Quest 2 and was up and running in minutes without any help so it's VERY user-friendly. He loved the fully spacial audio experience and once he explained the term to me and I tried it out, I loved it too! If you are watching happen directly in front of you and your turn your head then the sound only follows as it would in "real life" not a singular audio experience no matter where you are oriented. The fact that your microphone mutes when you flip up the speakers makes it really easy to step out of what's going on "virtually" and interact with the actual world. Also, while you are using the speakers you are totally immersed and yet, you can also still hear things in the "actual world" which (speaking from a mom's perspective) is a great safety bonus! Another great feature is that he could hear me call him, while he was playing, but I didn't have to hear the BeatSaber music, even though it was on full volume. The only cautionary fact that we have discovered is that it does not work with his 3rd party charger, when we use that charger we do have to disconnect the speakers as they don't fit.

These over-ear speakers add an extra depth not only in sound quality (the frequency response is wider than the default Quest 2 speakers) but also in spacial quality given its distance from the ears.

Let me start by saying I wasn't sold on the idea when I ordered these. Boy was I wrong. The setup was quick and easy. It is important to not just start this without a quick skim of what you need to do. I love that this is done over USB - C with no gimmicks (adapters, dongles, etc). Additionally, the fit and finish was great. Doesn't appear to be much different in quality with the actual headset. Additionally, the sound quality is good and is significantly better than the alternative. The look of these is a little silly in my eye, but not outrageous (albeit VR headsets aren't sexy to begin with). They don't seem to add much weight to the overall headset or make the headset feel off balance (these were some of my largest concerns). USB-C passthrough is a very welcome feature and allows for this device to really be used without interfering with the CR headset in any meaningful way. The flipping to mute feature is nice. In summary, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to have a more meaningful engaging experience in VR

The packaging was very nice for this addition to my Meta Quest 2. I have an aftermarket headstrap and the integrated audio system fit just fine. I was able to use the instructions that came with it with no problem. When I turned on my Oculus 2, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no setting to change, but they just worked. If I want to mute the volume, they can slide up horizontal with the headstrap and I can easily hear what is going on in the room. They look nice and make the headset look like it has had a major upgrade. Looks, however seem to be the only addition these bring to the Oculus Quest 2. I could find no positive change in volume with these. While I have had no issues hearing the speakers that are already there, these seem to have a lower volume, even though they are closer to my ears. I have noticed that charging my Oculus is a slight bit slower than it was when the cable was connected directly to the headset. This is probably a good thing, though, as it hinders my ability to have extraordinarily long sessions in VR.
