I had 2 of these, first time i didn't learn my lesson. This headset is not made for extensive use and abuse and it will brake soon if you plan to game with it. First time my left speaker went out because the wire is so fragile it basically broke inside the insulation from extensive bending. Second time, about 5 minutes ago, the mic broke and renders it completely useless. Same thing happened, the wire basically broke inside the insulation. So, if you plan to game with this headset STAY AWAY!!!!

Buying this product was a mistake. I have had 3 or 4 logitech brand headsets in the past that I have used for online gaming and NONE of them have been at all reliable. All 3 or 4 have broken, the sound goes out or malfunctions in one or both ears. This product in particular just sounds muted whenever you work with it. Not worth the money, this product is garbage...and all of the headsets I have used that were logitech brand were garbage.

I got this for a Christmas present about 2 years ago, it worked great for the first month, then The microphone went out. Then in about 2 months the cord started tangling more, and more. Then it got to the point that the cord was so tangled that I decided to get a new headset. Also the microphone doesn't work at all, I have to get within .4 inchs from the mic, and all I hear is static. DO NOT BUY.

Have had problems with the left side speaker out of the box. At first worked intermittenly now does not work. When calling someone and using mic voice is muffled or sounds like "waves on the ocean". My guess is that the wire used is not up to the task and there is a manufacturing defect on the left side. Now have to buy a new set. Waste of money.

I tried to talk to two different people on two computers and both times whenever I talk it would cut out. The mic. would never pick up unless it was literally in my mouth. Very poor product for 30 dollars.

I bought this headset a couple of weeks ago and its great! The sound is great! I use this for gaming and talking on ventrilo! Everybody hears me crystal clear, and the noise canceling works great! Sound is also good. If your not careful with this headset, it can break. Do not try to stretch it to make it more comfy. It will break it. Overall, pretty good product.

I bought these about six months ago and got excellent use from them, at least until the left speaker stopped working. It is definitely bad wiring because it went out intermittently before going out completely. For $25 it wasn't a terrible investment for the last six months but I think next time I'm going to try something else.

The ONLY real complaint I have is that if you are a bigger guy with a proportional size head, these push the top back part of your ears into your glasses and can get a bit uncomfortable. If you slide the forward just a touch, towards your face, it solves the problem. Other than that, sound quality is great and crystal clear. For the price, can't beat it. I use it for gaming and so far I have been impressed with this product for the small price. Have recommended it to others already and they love it as well.

the mic will go in and out making it impossible to play with online.So if you play online games DO NOT GET IT.

This headset is pretty much what I expected - simple yet useful. I needed a mike for gaming and wanted something cheap in price but not cheap in quality - this wasn't a half-bad choice based on those perogatives. There's probably better headset combos out there but Logitech made something quick & easy. If you have any problems with this thing it is most likely whatever voice-chat program you use.

I have purchase 3 of these in the last year. They work for about 3-4 months then stop working. The wiring in the headset breaks and then you can't hear from one or both sides. Although Best Buy has replaced them each time, I am not replacing this last set as I am tired of replacing them.

Although tight on the head, they manage to block outside noises. Would prefer if they were not as snug as they are, but they come in handy for my podcast.

This is a great first time mic for me. It was cheap, It's a trusted brand. I mostly use this mic for vent. It works very, very well.

i use this headset for gaming and ive gone thru 3 of theese in the past month because the left ear always goes out after a week or two, so i dont know if its worth buying anotherone, i like it but i shouldnt be buying $90 worth of headsets a month

I bought these for the purpose of gaming. They work great with Skype and im sure they would with other programs as well. A Great Buy at Best Buy!
