Works well.....most of the time

Once re-connected, it works well, and is nicely back lit. Does make the iPad a little heavier than if it was connected to the Apple keypad, but overall, it's nice.

Posted .Thank you for this very fair and honest review of the Combo Touch Keyboard Case. Since batteries aren't included, the Combo Touch sources power, pairs, and even securely transfers data all via the Smart Connector. If you disconnect it, then yes, you will have to reconnect it to your iPad each time. Might I suggest that you download the Logitech Control app that lets you update the firmware and gives you greater customization for your Combo Touch. You can find the app in the App Store. Apple iPad Air

She received excellent customer service from the Best Buy associate who worked with her. The iPad Air came on the date that we were told to expect delivery. Set up was extremely easy and quick. My wife is now enjoying to use it as a "mini" laptop as well as watching movies and downloading books.

Great for turning an iPad into a laptop

I originally bought a chrome book but we found it too limiting. We already had the iPad so I figured why not try it. This also has a mousepad which I thought she needed. Ended up working out better than expected.

Keypad is a little heavier than expected, but makes iPad secure and safe in case it falls. Great purchase at reasonable price.

Excellent iPad keyboard

A few did not work as well but over time new updates will resolve this issue.

Keys have gready tactility and adjustable backlighting. The lack of separate charging requirement is also a game changer.

This causes the keyboard to fall away. It is only secured by a magnet, so I wouldn't say this is unexpected. It can just be a little frustrating when you're working on a project.
