Will work for heavy microphones only

Had no counterweight and wouldn’t stay at the height level I needed, despite completely tightening the “tension knobs” and the plate under the stand. Tested with a Shure MV7, so technically didn’t test with a Yeti microphone thus the optimistic 3 Stars.

Wayyyyy to tense for any mic relatively light.

I have a hyperx quadcast and support says that it is a defective arm that is a reoccurring issue for them, but my question is why they are aware of the issue yet not informing anyone or putting more tests in place before sending them out of manufacturing. I have seen many complaints about this exact issue, so I decided to take the gamble. No matter how loose the screw for tension was and how tight the friction joints were the second half of the arm would go straight back up eventually. I have decided to return this arm and go with a better option. Super disappointed especially from a company I used most my gear for. TLDR: If you have a lighter mic do not purchase as these arms are a 50-50 shot and being too sensitive to weight and unless your setup is attached to the ceiling due to the arm going straight up do not purchase.

Really good for the price!

Just make sure you have the room/place to attached it to so you can have your mic not so close to your face or in your way!
