Great Quality, Durable
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great build, high quality, easy to use and tons of adjustment. wish the end pivot point for the mic would have more angles of rotation but no real issues.

The BOOM you need!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I forgot what brand I *USED* to have, but I bought this bad boy, and MAN OH MAN, it's strong, doesn't collapse after a little weight sits on it (I use it to hang my headphones on), and I couldn't be happier.

Two have broken, not worth the money.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this for my son for Christmas. It broke, the return process was very complicated with the manufacturer. The replacement broke in the same spot. There is a large design flaw at the boom location. Would not purchase again.

This Product Broke on me after a few weeks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Mic stand a few weeks ago and have been using it quite a bit. It has a lot of issues though. First I haven't had it for that long and even when I first bought it I could not get it to tighten at the spot I wanted my mic to stay at, it would always start rising up. Then just the other day when I went to tighten it the rotating piece in the arm where you twist to tighten just came off and now the arm doesn't even work which is absolutely stupid because this is not a cheap boom arm. I would tell anyone looking that they can find a better product on amazon for sure

Would not recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this arm for my stream but honestly it was not a good buy. It needed up being broken so I returned it and bought the Elgato low profile arm instead. I will say it is made very poorly.

Cumbersome and not “set and forget”
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve tried numerous mic booms, and I honestly think this is one of the worst I’ve ever used, even worse than the cheap $15 one I got from Amazon. It is way too stiff to adjust easily, the joints do not lock tightly enough to prevent it from springing back into an unwanted position. It does have a very beautiful appearance and construction, but it functionality really was disappointing. Returned it immediately and sent with the Elgato boom which has not disappointed whatsoever and at the same price.

SAVE YOURSELF
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.if I could give it less stars I would. you do NOT need this - there are plenty of cheaper alternatives that will be easier to set up and last longer. The arm itself was defective right out of the box, none of the joints would pivot and hold their position - the think was stuck straight up and down. After some research online I found that you have about a 50% of getting a working one the first time. Always do your research people. I was going to make an attempt to take the joint apart to see if I could locate the issue, but didn’t because returning it was easier. I ultimately bought a different arm off Amazon (Samson) for $50 and the thing is bullet proof and ACTUALLY works.

Posted .Hell themrb, So sorry to hear about your troubles with the Blue Compass Stand and how you couldn't set it up properly. There is actually a video on the Blue website that walks you through the setup which can be tricky and there are a host of videos on YouTube that do the same. Glad to hear that you got something that works better for you. We appreciate the feedback and thank you for giving Blue a try. - Richard from Blue/Logitech

Not adjustable enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your time buying this product the tension on the bottom is too much and makes the arm catapult back. Unless you intend on buying a mic that is around the 4Lb to 5Lb mark then the arm is not worth it. Better off buying a gator arm for $30 dollars more and having an actually adjustable arm.

Complete Garbage
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless you have a 10lb microphone don't expect to be able to adjust this boom arm to any variation. Poor product design by a company who makes outstanding microphones. You would think that they would be able to have good enough quality control to make sure the cable tension is correct before shipping them out. Another thing I am going to point out is that on each knuckle of this arm are the thumb screws used to "lock" the arm in place. Those screws cannot even prevent the amount of tension from the cable from taking over and moving your mic and not retaining position set by the user. I wouldn't recommend this stand to my worst enemy and BestBuy should be working with Blue to make sure that they aren't receiving faulty, garbage products. Will be returning item to store ASAP!

Not worth the price at all.
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not worth the price at all. Arm broke off after few months and its always moving. You can't reallyy adjust it to your liking because of how stiff it is.

Getting Your Yeti Off The Table
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Many microphones today come with a table stand out of the box, but at times this makes it a pain for you to be heard in conversations on such applications as Discord. The best way to fix the problem is to get the microphone closer to your mouth with a mic stand. Blue Compass offers this microphone stand for their Yeti line of microphones and it's fairly decent, but I know there are better options. I do not suggest you purchase this stand if you have a Yeti Nano as it is not heavy enough to weigh the arm down; it will continue to stretch out and lose the position you create. Other than that this microphone is pretty standard, but the price is not--as you can see. When it comes to this stand nothing stands out, and to that, I say go-fish.

Don't waste your time or money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't waste your money. Bought it about an hour ago. The adjustments don't hold. It springs back no matter what position it is in. The little bottom screw for tension didn't help anything. Returning and getting a proper one.

Posted .Hello Chris. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the Compass Boom Arm. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the Compass. Just to let you know, it is made to counterbalance the weight of a microphone attached to it. Without the necessary weight on the end, it will always spring back up. The tension screw simply makes the arm tighter and does not actually lock it into place. When set up properly, the Compass arm is able to be adjusted with one hand and can remain in almost any position. This allows the arm to not have any exposed springs, which often rattle to make noise and can disrupt a stream/recording session. Hopefully you were able to find a microphone mount/stand that works well for you!
