Great mouse, not just for gaming

This is my first high quality mouse. It has a really nice feel with its subtle indents for index and middle finger. It has a slightly heavier weight than any other mouse I've used, which I didn't realize I would appreciate so much. I'm only able to use a claw grip on the mouse, since my hands are pretty large, but it's what I've always used with previous mice, for the same reason, so I can't comment on the how it feels with the other grip styles. I'm not able to reach the side buttons with my thumb in a smooth motion because of my grip style, but that doesn't bother me and I'm happy how it feels. The braided cable is great and bends very easily in any direction. The scroll wheel is smooth and has nice feedback. RGB is nice too, with options for solid color, breathing, and color cycle. I was using a linux machine before I recently built a new computer, so I initially wasn't able to use the logitech software to customize the mouse(not being available for linux), but I was able to download it on a windows machine I did have and customize the lighting, which then worked great once connected back to my linux computer, since the settings are saved onboard the mouse. Best Buy price matched it for me, and I then received it 2 days later, great job Best Buy!

    My Wife Approves

This is the best mouse for small hands with the 3366 sensor. Before I got my wife this mouse the G Pro, I was hearing the constant picking up and slamming the down of the old mouse. The problem was I was watching her trying to keep up with a tracer, genji in Overwatch, and constantly running out of mouse pad space and the frustration that went along with it. Finding a mouse for smaller hands was also real challenge. Tried all sorts of mice, Roccats, Razer, Steel Series, etc., bought and returned at least a dozen differnt ones. None of them tracked the way she wanted, until I got G Pro, and now she is no longer having to pick up the mouse to recenter it on the mouse pad. It tracks fast and accurate at the higher DPI settings, and I don't need to hear the constant clacking of a mouse with the desk.

I've tried nearly every single Logitech on the market. While this particular one isn't my favorite it is still very good. CLICKS: The left and right click are your standard from Logitech with a nice satisfying click that is audible with very light pressure. The side buttons feel great. LIGHTING: The lighting that goes around the back edge of the mouse looks nice and means you can see it even while gaming. The G logo itself also looks good with the RGB lighting. The RGB lighting isn't the most accurate but it's not bad. It also gets plenty bright. FEEL: This is a small mouse. Made for people with small to medium hands. If you have large hands this mouse will probably not work well for you. This is mostly for people who use claw grip. Palm can work as long as you have small hands. There is rounding on the mouse which makes it easier to pick up the mouse. Sensor is great with the PMW3366. The cord itself isn't great. Is pretty stiff. It also comes in lighter than most gaming mice which is nice. It gives you a little more control and accuracy.

Overall, this mouse is great if you have smaller hands, I don't so its not for me. Excellent sensor and tracking performance here. Great RBG lighting, but the braided cable is a no no. Why does Logitech keep using braided cables? Learn from Zowie please and use high quality rubber/plastic, it snags onto stuff and is heavier.

I play first person shooters, I don't li,etc to install much software, the basic generic plug and play drivers work great. It feels good, size wise for me, I don't have huge hands, nor small, it would not do so well for bigger hand I don't think. Tracks perfectly, returns to where it should when moving back to normal, has 4 DPI/CPI/Sense settings using the button on top and seem to be set nicely for different scenarios. And for the Price, really nice. I have not tried the same type with weights though.

This mouse is great for anyone looking to invest in a worthwhile gaming mouse. It offers a classic ergonomic grip that can fit any style Palm, claw or finger. As someone who uses a claw grip, its a nice middle ground between too short and too long. It has the latest sensor Logitech has manufactured and it doesn't disappoint. the smoothness and responsiveness of the mouse is like night and day compared to a regular mouse. I found the two buttons on the left thumb side quite useful and the Logitech software is quite good at allowing different variants. It also has an on board memory so you want have to re tweak the mouse if you bring it to another computer. lastly the software allows you to change of the mouse. Including an extremely wide customization of colors you can even dim the brightness to make a color more vivid. its purley asthetic but a neat feature. Highly recommended, i'll be using this for the long run, i have tried several different mice in the past but this ones just a nice elegant mouse for gaming with no gimmicks.

Good for claw grip, great tracking, but the mouse is a little long on the hand. Super light and good overall, I would just prefer more a diamond shape like the g303.

Has that classic Dell/Logitech Mouse shape, with one of the best sensors on the market today. -No accel/decel like my Roccat Kone Pure Military. The G Pro makes that mouse feel broken. -Clicks are easy to activate, with nice feedback. But may be too loud -If you're looking for a basic looking mouse that's not all cheesy "gamer" looking, this is the one to get.

    Replaced my DeathAdder

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I had to replace my Razer DeathAdder because the scroll wheel started going bad. I kept hearing about the sensor in this mouse, and decided to try it. I mainly play Battlefield 4, Unreal Tournament 2004, Defender's Quest and Minecraft (with the kids / family), and I had been liking this a lot. The mouse itself is small and pretty light. The 3 buttons are very easy to press, and you can really hear and feel them when you do. The main buttons are very clicky and tight, and very satisfying to use. The two side buttons are much smaller than I thought they would be and are way harder to press and not nearly as comfortable to press as the DeathAdder's side buttons. They're way too thin and too high up for me to use as effectively. In shooters, I use the more back button to crouch, and the more forward button to go prone. It's not hard to use, just not nearly as good as it could be. This is the only reason I don't give this mouse 5 Stars. The DPS switch button is very easy to press when I want to press it and I haven't hit it on accident after a few hundred hours of gaming and many more hours in general use. It's light-weight enough that I haven't ever had a problem doing quick turn around shots, and it makes flying helicopters much better than I thought it could be. It has an RGB light on the palm and back part. It just drove me crazy, so I just made it purple and dim, just so I can find it. You can make it breathe, change color, stay solid, and adjust the brightness, which is good. The DeathAdder I got, I got with no light on it because I am not a fan of lights on mice. I do love it on the keyboards though. All in all, this mouse is easy to use and to take with me to work, and it's actually much better than I thought it would be. It's smooth with very good buttons. Just wish the side buttons were bigger. Not only would I recommend for a friend, I bought an extra for a friend and he really liked it as well.

    Very Solid FPS/Moba Mouse

This mouse is very solid for people who need an FPS or MOBA mouse. It's fairly small so only consider this if you have small hands (for palm) or prefer claw/fingertip grip. Very similar to the now discontinued G100S, but with a far superior sensor. The shape is pretty good, but the backside when you place your pinky is a bit tricky at first to get used to. Scroll wheel works nicely and is usable for gaming. Very light (84g.)

Excellent mouse. It is light and fits into your hand extremely well. It has the best optical sensor available and it definitely shows. Extremely accurate. The buttons respond very well. If you are looking for a competitive mouse, look no further. Try this out and make sure you download the Logitech gaming software. Great options and lighting effects.

It has a wide rage of speeds that can be changed at the press of a button and it is very accurate. It has a lot of color options too if you are into that. It is not the most comfortable mouse that I have used, but it is far from uncomfortable. The buttons are clicky which took some getting used to.

If you need a good sensor and you like ambidextrous mice, the only way this mouse can go wrong is if the mouse is too small (which it is quite small compared to other mice such as the Razer Deathadder) or you dislike the slightly curved front grip and prefer flat sides a the front (like the G302 and the G303)

It *is* a quality mouse. It has the LG lighting that matches the keyboard as well and is light, but I wish it had some more buttons on it. It has the two side ones (forward and backward), left and right click, a scroll wheel and a DPI adjuster. It has one light that's the LG logo as well.

I wanted to try an even lighter mouse than my Logitech G403. So I went ahead and decided to go with the G Pro. So, I have the type of hands that never get sweaty during a gaming session. I generally find mice that have a matte finish of some sort really hard to grip. If only the G Pro had rubberized textured sides like the G403, this thing would be a lot easier to grip. I can flick shots really well with the G Pro. The only problem is I'm having such a hard time keeping the mouse from slipping in the middle of a game that it'll cost me a life or two. Another thing is I have a relaxed clawgrip and after only 20 minutes of using the G Pro, my right pinky finger was really sore. If you have small hands and like really light mice (only 83g), this mouse is for you. I have 18cm hands However, if you have hands that are generally dry and don't sweat, holding this thing is like holding a slippery egg. Lastly, the braided cable is very stiff. You have to break it in a little bit just to give it a little flexibility.

I love this mouse so much that I have two of them! I play a lot of games and spend a lot of time on my computer. This mouse is perfectly adequate for my needs. I do have smaller hands, so I'm not entirely sure how comfortable this mouse would be for someone with larger hands who prefers to place their whole palm on the mouse.
