Logitech may be making some of the WORST headsets right now, but their keyboard and mice are STILL absolutely TOP NOTCH. (This review is about my experience with the White variant, but it's the same model. I love this mouse so much, I bought the black one as a ready backup) The G203 is now being sold as the G Pro (exact same mouse, different branding), but if you can still find it as a G203, it's bang for your buck. The fact that the G203 is being bumped up to a line called "Pro" alone says something about the quality of this mouse. While the G203 may be a little smaller than more are comfortable with, it has a nice weight to it and contains quality switches. I've had a white variant that has lasted me over a year now, while many other mice have failed me in one way or another in much less time (LOOKING AT YOU RAZER). I don't have the biggest hands (a little smaller than Medium gloves), but in the pictures you'll see a comparison of my hands to the mouse, putting my palm directly over the center of the mouse. For reference, from the base of my hand to middle fingertip is 7 inches. Putting my palm at the bottom of the mouse will put my tips around the center of the buttons.

It came with seal on one side be broken, I didn't think a lot because it worked great. I love it. I will edit my review if I have any problem with it. I recommend customers download the support app from Logitech site to update firmware and manage this mouse. (on link http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g203-prodigy-gaming-mouse/downloads )

Love the customizable color and lighting scheme. The adjustable DPI is helpful when going between everyday use and graphics.

Probably can't get much better than this for the price. Tracking is accurate, clicks feel solid.

Capable but requires software to fine tune

After using a number of wireless ones I opted to go back to a wired gaming mouse to avoid battery and precision concerns. The RGB lighting is nice and the button features are just enough for casual gamers. It does require having to download the Logitech mouse software in order to get the best out of it, however. Simply plugging it in will get you a mediocre mouse that is the same as any generic mouse, and without the Logitech software installed, traversing a 4K screen takes quite a few lifts and strokes. The software allows for the mouse cursor sensitivity to be adjusted based on your screen's pixel dimensions, but requires different sensitivity for browsing and moving the mouse as opposed to doing doing precision movements such as in gaming or digital artwork such as in Photoshop. Overall it is a capable mouse that isn't gaudy in design and has a quality build and finish compared to some more expensive products.

Purchased this mouse because the wireless mouse kept freezing up on me. I have been happy with it so far. Was surprised that it lights up with multiple colors - pretty cool. Love that I can control the speed of the mouse with a click of a button on top. And the price was remarkably cheap!

I'm not the type of person that really cares about getting the most high-end mouse anymore, nor am I an expert on mouses. I've had a Razer Deathadder before and the only difference that's apparent is the shape and size of the mouse. This mouse obviously isn't as ergonomically built like the Deathadder and it's also a lot smaller, so you end up clawing a lot instead of palming. This comes down to preference of course but when it comes to the sensor, I don't notice anything different. I really think you'd have to be nit-picky and let some placebo effect come into play to at least notice a difference. I 'downgraded' my mouse and I've been very happy with my purchase so far. Note: It will ALWAYS take time to adjust to using something new, so don't be so quick to judge this mouse.

Logitech makes some of the best products on the market.. especially the mosues. The RGB is awesome on this and I wish i bought two of these mouses! For the price I got it at I shouldve.. so if you can find these on sale scoop them up. They make great bday and Christmas gifts. Plus its always great to have these as spares in case one day your mouse fails. There are better Logitech mouses but if you can get these at a great price snatch them up becuase this particular mouse flew off the shelves and hard to find them in stock for how inexpensive they are.

For the price it's really hard to beat the Logitech - G203 Prodigy Wired Optical Gaming Mouse. I could care less about RGB lighting but I will say, it is a nice feature. The last one I had stopped working after about a year or two of heavy use but it's much easier to pay $20-$30 to replace than some mice that cost 5 times as much. These do go on sale from time to time so I would recommend buying an extra when then do just so you'll have a backup when you need it.

    Good Mouse for Small Hands

Got this mouse to replace a plain-old MS Intellimouse that I'd used for many years. The wheel on the old mouse was wearing out & was beginning to spontaneously scroll from time to time when I just wanted it to sit still. The wheel on this one is great! No more 'auto-scrolls' like the old one. It's much more accurate, and you can pre-program up to 5 DPI levels that you can cycle through on the fly, using the button by the wheel. It works well for people with smaller hands, although with claw-style users it can be a tad 'slick' feeling due to the vertical taper on the sides, especially if you grip hard. I already had a Logitech keybaord,(G810) so I had the Logitec Gaming Software onboard, & it recognized the G203 immediately. I was able to set up the color-scheme to match that of the keyboard & set the DPI bumps, etc. Overall, it was painless to set up. It's just a basic mouse, without all the extra macro buttons found on other gaming mice, but that is reflected in the (much) lower price. You can still set up macros on it for certain game profiles, if you can spare one of the 5 basic mouse buttons.(it might be possible for Logitech keyboard users to assign a keyboard key that triggers a macro involving mouse actions) I've been very satisfied with this mouse. At a low price, you really can't go wrong with this mouse.

Precise, affordable, and durable I used this mouse for two years without issue it has been dropped several times "dogs pulling cord" yet have not had any issues it's now my second mouse as it's rather small for my hand size. Great budget mouse for gaming or daily use - however be mindful that it is best for smaller hands.

I bought this mouse for $19.99, during Black Friday sales. It usually goes for 1.5 to 2 times this amount, but it is still worth it. Though intended for gaming, I recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, comfortable, and responsive mouse without breaking the bank. The difference between this and Bluetooth is day and night. I can't believe RGB lighting is included on what seems to be an entry-level mouse. My only complaint is the buggy Logitech Gaming Software for Mac (don't keep it running), and the single onboard profile.

If you look up best budget gaming mouse this is the one that usually pops up and there’s a reason why. I don’t do any competitive gaming on PC and I didn’t think ant anything too fancy. This has everything I was looking for. The material is a matte plastic which is great because it’s super easy to clean. No finishes to be careful of ruining with this. Construction feels solid during use. If you download the software for it, you can not only customize the RBG but all the buttons including sensitivity. Its a HUGE step up from my $13 “gaming” mouse I’ve been using for the past few years. I didn’t know what I was missing. Also, I hear this mouse frequently goes on sale for around $30 which is what I bought it for. Definitely worth it!

I've been using the Logitech G305 for a while, which is basically a wireless version of this, and this feels just as good, if not better. The weight is about the same but the main and side buttons feel a lot crisper and cleaner with less pretravel and wobble. The RGB on this is bright and top notch. Really great mouse for the price point.

I was looking for a good mouse that wasn't too expensive for my work laptop. This mouse works perfect for that. It is responsive and is comfortable to use. I had to download the software on my personal laptop to change the colors and prevent it from automatically switching colors, but fortunately those settings transferred to my work laptop.

This mouse is great very accurate and precise, love the RGB lighting. The only con it's not cordless but this no problem since I haven't found any cordless mouse as accurate as a corded one. Very well worth the buy.

Upon first glance, the mouse may look like a simple mouse with rgb lighting, but the performance is rather good. It isn’t an ergonomic mouse, but that doesn’t mean its not a comfortable one. Coming from someone with medium sized hands, the mouse is fairly comfortable to use. The Mercury sensor that has been used in the mouse is really good as well. After using Logitech’s g502 that is equiped with the PMW3366 sensor, I haven’t found too big of a difference between the tracking. If you are looking for a mouse that is light, has a good sensor, has rgb lighting, and is budget friendly, this one would definitely be my go to option.

Great mouse for the price, it is accurate and not too heavy and not too light. The LED multi color light can get annoying but reprograming the mouse for a permanent color and brightness what easy.
