Logitech may be making some of the WORST headsets right now, but their keyboard and mice are STILL absolutely TOP NOTCH. (This review is about my experience with the White variant, but it's the same model. I love this mouse so much, I bought the black one as a ready backup) The G203 is now being sold as the G Pro (exact same mouse, different branding), but if you can still find it as a G203, it's bang for your buck. The fact that the G203 is being bumped up to a line called "Pro" alone says something about the quality of this mouse. While the G203 may be a little smaller than more are comfortable with, it has a nice weight to it and contains quality switches. I've had a white variant that has lasted me over a year now, while many other mice have failed me in one way or another in much less time (LOOKING AT YOU RAZER). I don't have the biggest hands (a little smaller than Medium gloves), but in the pictures you'll see a comparison of my hands to the mouse, putting my palm directly over the center of the mouse. For reference, from the base of my hand to middle fingertip is 7 inches. Putting my palm at the bottom of the mouse will put my tips around the center of the buttons.

Best budget gaming mouse, excellent sensor

I was shopping for a budget gaming mouse. I did not want to spend over $40 just for a mouse. I was torn between this and the Corsair Harpoon. I decided to go with this because of the rave reviews I've read online regarding the sensor being used, which is supposedly designed in-house by Logitech themselves. The sensor is EXCELLENT. It tracks very very well. I use this mouse very every-day use and playing FPS games. PROS For me this mouse works because: 1) It looks like a traditional mouse, without all the crazy angles 2) The RGB lighting on it is very appealing and simple looking, it can also be turned off or pulsate to different colors 3) The size fits my medium/small hand, I am NOT a palm gripper when gaming. I claw grip and this mouse fits my style perfectly 4) The mouse is light, so that's a big plus for fast twitch gaming 5) The software has different customization for color, dpi, and profiles 6) Had additional two buttons by the thumb so that you can bind other actions for the game/program that you are playing 7) The price. A very affordable mouse for the way it performs CONS 1) The cable is not braided and can take a while for it to "flatten out", but oh well, the mouse is very cheap in price This mouse also comes in white, I might just buy that one too to pair up with my other machine

    Good Mouse for Small Hands

Got this mouse to replace a plain-old MS Intellimouse that I'd used for many years. The wheel on the old mouse was wearing out & was beginning to spontaneously scroll from time to time when I just wanted it to sit still. The wheel on this one is great! No more 'auto-scrolls' like the old one. It's much more accurate, and you can pre-program up to 5 DPI levels that you can cycle through on the fly, using the button by the wheel. It works well for people with smaller hands, although with claw-style users it can be a tad 'slick' feeling due to the vertical taper on the sides, especially if you grip hard. I already had a Logitech keybaord,(G810) so I had the Logitec Gaming Software onboard, & it recognized the G203 immediately. I was able to set up the color-scheme to match that of the keyboard & set the DPI bumps, etc. Overall, it was painless to set up. It's just a basic mouse, without all the extra macro buttons found on other gaming mice, but that is reflected in the (much) lower price. You can still set up macros on it for certain game profiles, if you can spare one of the 5 basic mouse buttons.(it might be possible for Logitech keyboard users to assign a keyboard key that triggers a macro involving mouse actions) I've been very satisfied with this mouse. At a low price, you really can't go wrong with this mouse.

This was my first introduction to gaming mice. I was disappointed. First off, I must have skipped over the part where you actually NEED to install the Logitech software to map the extra buttons - they can't actually be assigned using the default drivers. Two games I played (Guild Wars 2 and Minecraft) would not let me assign Mouse button 4, 5, or 6 to an action in the game directly. You have to actually use the Logitech software to bind a button to a hotkey using profiles. I bought this mouse so I could use the extra buttons directly, not use another program to assign hotkey bindings which take up a keyboard key instead of the actual mouse button. Wasn't a big fan of the mouse turning into a disco ball when you plug it in - fortunately this can be disabled with the Logitech software. The extra DPI button is located just below the scroll wheel, and is a pain if you accidentally hit it during game play - your mouse cursor will slow down or speed up depending on what the software has been set to. The two side buttons are by default mapped to being forward and backward when browsing web sites, it's easy to accidentally hit one of them while entering form data - making me enter the data again. I would not recommend this mouse to anyone I know because it didn't fulfill my needs. I am using a Windows 7 gaming laptop.

I'm not the type of person that really cares about getting the most high-end mouse anymore, nor am I an expert on mouses. I've had a Razer Deathadder before and the only difference that's apparent is the shape and size of the mouse. This mouse obviously isn't as ergonomically built like the Deathadder and it's also a lot smaller, so you end up clawing a lot instead of palming. This comes down to preference of course but when it comes to the sensor, I don't notice anything different. I really think you'd have to be nit-picky and let some placebo effect come into play to at least notice a difference. I 'downgraded' my mouse and I've been very happy with my purchase so far. Note: It will ALWAYS take time to adjust to using something new, so don't be so quick to judge this mouse.

Upon first glance, the mouse may look like a simple mouse with rgb lighting, but the performance is rather good. It isn’t an ergonomic mouse, but that doesn’t mean its not a comfortable one. Coming from someone with medium sized hands, the mouse is fairly comfortable to use. The Mercury sensor that has been used in the mouse is really good as well. After using Logitech’s g502 that is equiped with the PMW3366 sensor, I haven’t found too big of a difference between the tracking. If you are looking for a mouse that is light, has a good sensor, has rgb lighting, and is budget friendly, this one would definitely be my go to option.

My previous mouse was a $15 Redragon m601. If this mouse had been released at the time I bought my current mouse, I wouldn't had even looked at the m601 and would have gladly spent the extra $15. This mouse has RGB lighting, a comfortable shape for fingertip grip, and most importantly a highly superior sensor. The difference between the mouse's sensor compared my old mouse was night and day. It was smoother and more accurate when moving the cursor around quickly. If you wanted a budget gaming mouse meant for fingertip/claw and is objectively better than its competitors in almost every way, then this is the one for you.

I've tried the G305 in the past and found that the side buttons were a little mushier than I would have liked so I returned it. I decided to pick this up when it was on sale for $28 and I'm happier than I thought I'd be. It only goes up to 8000 DPI, but who really plays above 3200 anyway? It has a decent weight at around 85g and tracks really well when playing FPS games. I wish it was little more textured on the sides, but it works really well with my claw style grip.

Perfect Mouse for Small/Medium Hand Claw Grippers

    Posted
    TrueRaf

I initially bought the Razer Deathadder Elite, which was a mistake, because that mouse is too big a fit. I have a bit smaller than average hand size (17.5 cm). The G203 fits my hands perfectly. I can palm it or claw grip it comfortably, with great control, which means excellent response, accuracy and control in my gaming. I also prefer this over the Pro because of its rubber cable as opposed to the stiff braided one that the Pro has. The G203 is slightly lighter and a tiny bit thinner from the side. So, if you're into small mouse, flicking action, fast-paced gaming, then this is the mouse to get.

I bought this mouse because it was on sale. Overall it's a great gaming mouse but decided to return it for the G305. The G305 is the same mouse but with a better sensor and wireless. The weight difference is minimal and unnoticeable for gaming. You can even buy a AAA to AA converter to make it weigh the same or even less if I'm not mistaken. Go with the G305 if you are looking at this mouse for gaming.

I bought this mouse for $19.99, during Black Friday sales. It usually goes for 1.5 to 2 times this amount, but it is still worth it. Though intended for gaming, I recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, comfortable, and responsive mouse without breaking the bank. The difference between this and Bluetooth is day and night. I can't believe RGB lighting is included on what seems to be an entry-level mouse. My only complaint is the buggy Logitech Gaming Software for Mac (don't keep it running), and the single onboard profile.

The only positives I can list for this mouse is that it’s comfortable in the hand. My negatives would be that you can’t turn of the led lighting and that it just cycles between red, green, and blue you can’t set it to static or adjust the brightness. The DPI is also pretty low when compared to most gaming mice and will struggle for 1080p much less 4K screens/ monitors. I would suggest getting an off brand from amazon at this price point because you can often get a more superior product.

The mouse works like it's suppose to but the button on top to increase mouse travel speed seems to get in the way a lot, but can be adapted to after pressing it on accident enough times. Can't turn off light show that it has until computer goes to sleep. Do if that doesn't bother you then it's all too then.roller on top is cool because it can be press down or to the side.side buttons save time when you are seriously searching for info on the internet because it allowed you to go forward or back pages without going to the corner of the page

This is a great mouse for the price. When it comes to FPS gaming, this is the most basic mouse to get you started, and it's all you really need. Higher tier mice have better build materials and sensors, but most people (including Pro players) only play between 400-1000 anyways. And with the firmware update, this mouse actually goes up to 8000 (not 6000).

For what I paid I guess it did what it was made to do, be a mouse. The issue i had with it was that you couldn't turn of the light color changes, so in the middle of the night it would just light up the room when the computer did an update. also, the speed adjustment button is too prominent on the top. while using the mouse I tend to bump the button, sending the pointer into a frenzy or a slow turtle like crawl, which is frustrating in the middle of a game.

Returned g403 for this mouse. This one is much nicer. No braided cable dragging, sensor felt just as good and tracking. It was alot more comfortable and lighter. Not to mention half the price. Let's not forget build quality way better. No rattling around when I pick it up no matter how hard I toss it around. I can also click the middle mouse button. G403 mmb was way to hard to press and scrolling was to rough. Solid product. Win all around for me.

It came with seal on one side be broken, I didn't think a lot because it worked great. I love it. I will edit my review if I have any problem with it. I recommend customers download the support app from Logitech site to update firmware and manage this mouse. (on link http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g203-prodigy-gaming-mouse/downloads )

Works great with the center button above the scroll wheel defaulting as a DPI quick switch. Download/install the Logitech software and all of the buttons become fully configurable for various functions, and you can set custom DPI's to toggle between or set it to perform some other function. The colors are also set by the software. No complaints here.

Even though this is a budget mouse, I think there is better options out there. The fit and the clicks and the shape of the mouse are honestly, just odd. I’d go with something else a little higher price but if you can’t afford anything more, check out youtube. They have many cheap alternatives that are way better.

Was looking for a new Logitech corded mouse mostly for gaming to replace my old one. It's a great brand. My old one was 10 years old so I knew the quality of the brand was exceptional and wanted to stick with the brand. It's comfortable on the hand, low profile, not too fancy, and I like the glowing light changing feature it has. Another "10" from Logitech!
